Job Description Summary: As a Tool and Die Journeyperson, you will work under minimal supervision with a high level of independent judgement and problem solving. You should be flexible enough to take on and tackle multiple job assignments in a shift. Convert existing CAD models into simplified, clean assemblies that are CFD-friendly and optimized for high-fidelity meshing. Design and develop mechanical parts for aerodynamics and cooling physical testing. Collaborate with the global design studio on styling surface development. Coordinate the release, manufacturing, and assembly of test parts to ensure quality and timely delivery. Support the development of CFD automation processes. Coordinate and perform movement of large, high-value HV battery assemblies using forklifts, cranes, and rigging equipment, ensuring proper handling and documentation. Support root cause analysis by preparing batteries for teardown, assisting with disassembly, and capturing observations and data for engineering teams.
