Job Descriptionアマゾンジャパン オペレーションズ部門では急速な事業拡大の中で、お客様の利便性を追求し“ほしい物がすぐ届くサービス”を実現してきました。そのサービスを支える重要なチームの1つExternal Fulfillment(以下EF)部門では、外部の物流パートナーの協力のもと、自社の物流拠点にはない商材の取り扱いや急激な需要の変化にスピーディーに対応することで、セレクションの拡大を追求し、お客様の購買体験の向上に貢献しています。本ポジションは、倉庫管理システム(以下WMS)の新規機能追加・改善のプロジェクトを通じて、物流の生産性や品質の改善に取り組んで頂きます。新規機能追加・改善のプロジェクトでは、海外のシステム開発部署やオペレーション部署と調整しながら導入までのタスクを整理し、プロジェクトの進捗を管理して頂きます。プロジェクトを進める為にはステークホルダー間のコンフリクトを解決するプロジェクトマネージメントスキルが求められます。また、どのシステムの改善が必要かを特定するために、商品の受発注から倉庫での入出庫オペレーションに関わるシステムフローやロジックを理解するハードスキルが必要となります。さらに、オペレーション担当者から実態を把握する為に情報を収集し、その情報を海外の開発部署に伝えるコミュニケーション能力も求められます。==================================At Amazon Japan Operations, amid rapid business expansion, we have pursued customer convenience and realized a "service that delivers what you want immediately." The External Fulfillment (EF) department, one of the key teams supporting this service, contributes to expanding selection and improving customer purchasing experience by handling products not available in our own logistics facilities and responding quickly to sudden changes in demand, with the cooperation of external logistics partners.In this position, you will work on improving logistics productivity and quality through projects for adding new features and improvements to the Warehouse Management System (WMS).For new feature addition and improvement projects, you will organize tasks leading to implementation while coordinating with overseas system development and operations departments, and manage project progress. Project management skills to resolve conflicts between stakeholders are required to advance projects. Additionally, hard skills are necessary to understand system flows and logic related to product ordering and warehouse inbound/outbound operations in order to identify which systems need improvement.
