El Waste Coordinator brinda apoyo en la ejecución y en la implementación de los programas relacionados con el manejo de residuos del equipo de cumplimiento Ambiental Global (EAP) de Amazon dentro de las instalaciones asignadas. Key job responsibilities- Caracterización y determinación de los residuos, incluyendo su segregación apropiada, contención, etiquetado y preparación para su envío, de acuerdo a las normas Estatales y Federales de México. - Organización de las áreas de almacenamiento y manejo de residuos, de acuerdo a los requisitos regulatorios y políticas de Amazon aplicables. - Realizar auditorías exhaustivas y precisas para la mejora continua incluyendo pero no limitados a los sitios de disposición de residuos, kits antiderrame, áreas de Product Awaiting Determination, suplementos para el manejo de residuos, etc. - Priorizar y manejar múltiples tareas técnicas. - Atender la limpieza y manejo de pequeños derrames de sustancias químicas en las instalaciones de Amazon. - Participar en todas las investigaciones relacionadas con incidentes ambientales en el Sitio. Trabajar en conjunto con el MSEM para realizar investigaciones exhaustivas para prevenir la recurrencia de los incidentes. - Apoyar en todos los envíos de residuos, y organizar toda la documentación necesaria para asegurar el correcto manejo de los residuos (permisos de los proveedores, manifiestos, comprobantes de disposición final, bitácoras, etc). - Solicitar órdenes de compra para equipo, contenedores, etiquetas y otros suplementos para mantener niveles de Stock apropiados en el área de residuos. - Asegurar que los registros necesarios para asegurar el correcto manejo de los residuos son completados y mantenidos adecuadamente. - Coordinarse con los equipos de WHS, ICQA, ISS, y otros equipos de los sitios responsables del correcto manejo de las sustancias químicas peligrosas para el correcto manejo de los residuos peligrosos y de los residuos no peligrosos o de manejo especial. - Apoyar al Multi Site Environmental Manager en la preparación de la documentación necesaria para las categorizaciones como generadores de residuos peligrosos y no peligrosos, así como para cumplir con los requisitos de tiempo máximo de almacenamiento de los residuos peligrosos.- Apoyar en la identificación de tendencias y áreas de oportunidad para reducción de costos. - Ser un recurso para responder preguntas relacionados con el manejo de los residuos por parte de operaciones. - Apoyar a operaciones en las actividades que se consideren necesarias para garantizar la consecución de los objetivos del sitio.About the teamEl equipo EAP protege las operaciones de Amazon en Mexico y apoya las necesidades de nuestros clientes internos de manera proactiva mitigando los riesgos ambientales y protegiendo al medio ambiente.
