Job DescriptionAmazon's Worldwide Global Selling team builds the products and programs that help sellers grow their business across Amazon's global marketplace network. Global by Default (GbD) is one of our most ambitious initiatives, eliminating the demand uncertainty, capital risk, and compliance friction that make single-country selling the default for most of the world's merchants. With GbD, a seller lists once and Amazon handles fulfillment, compliance, pricing, and returns in every market — no per-country setup, no upfront capital commitment. For the first time, global expansion is a starting point, not a project. We are seeking a strong Senior Product Manager to own the compliance seller experience for Global by Default — the surfaces, workflows, and guidance that make compliance visible, actionable, and as close to invisible as possible for sellers expanding globally. Today, compliance is one of the heaviest burdens sellers face: requirements surface late, remediation is slow, and the cost of navigating market-by-market regulations independently stops many sellers before they start. GbD changes this by making compliance proactive, consolidated, and Amazon-led. Your job is to make that experience real in Seller Central. You will own how sellers discover their compliance requirements, act on them, track their status across markets, and receive proactive guidance before issues arise — partnering with compliance program teams, NGS, and Global Compliance (GLC) to deliver an experience that is simple, trustworthy, and removes compliance as a barrier to global growth.Key job responsibilities- Own the end-to-end compliance seller experience within GbD including the unified compliance workspace, proactive requirement surfacing, remediation workflows, and status visibility across all enrolled markets- Define how compliance readiness is communicated to sellers at every stage of the GbD journey — at listing, during demand-testing, and at graduation — so sellers always know where they stand and what to do next- Partner with Global Compliance (GLC), NGS, and product teams to translate compliance infrastructure into seller-facing experiences that are clear, actionable, and low-effort- Identify and eliminate compliance experience gaps causing seller confusion, support contacts, or listing suppression using seller research, funnel data, and operational signals- Own the seller experience for AI-powered compliance guidance including proactive notifications, consolidated multi-market specs, and automated labeling recommendations- Define and own compliance SX KPIs including readiness rates, time-to-remediation, seller effort scores, and listing suppression reduction across GbD programs- Represent the compliance seller experience in cross-functional reviews and WBRs, advocating for the seller perspective in every compliance program decision Basic Qualifications:- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience as a product manager or owner- Experience owning technology products- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve product workflows and enhance seller-facing experiences Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree, or MBA- Experience in e-commerce compliance, regulatory requirements, or international marketplace operations- Experience working on seller-facing surfaces in Seller Central or equivalent marketplace platforms- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex regulatory or policy concepts into clear, actionable seller guidanceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Job DescriptionEvery person who joins Amazon must pass through screening before they can start. This role owns the platform that makes that happen.Employee Onboarding Experience (EOE) transforms the employment lifecycle for Amazon's global workforce. In this role, you own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the screening platform — the systems, vendor integrations, and data domain that power how Amazon initiates, tracks, and completes background checks, drug tests, and medical checks for 1MM+ candidates and employees annually across 60+ countries. This is not a maintenance role. You are building experience layers on top of a unified screening platform that serve multiple Amazon personas — candidates completing pre-employment checks, hiring managers tracking contingency status, recruiters managing screening workflows, operations teams resolving exceptions, and compliance teams monitoring regulatory adherence. Each persona has different needs, different interaction patterns, and different definitions of success. You will define how each of these audiences experiences screening, while ensuring the underlying platform delivers consistent, reliable data across all of them. Today, screening operates across multiple initiation methods, disparate case management systems, and siloed vendor integrations — each built independently over time by different parts of the business. You will define the architecture of how screening data flows between hiring systems, vendor APIs, and downstream consumers, build an encapsulated service model that reduces integration complexity, and expand screening capabilities to new populations and geographies. You own both the customer-facing experiences and the underlying platform — how vendor integrations, rule-based initiation logic, and adjudication workflows operate end-to-end. You will define API contracts with screening vendors, partner with engineering leads across three teams on system design trade-offs, and drive prioritization across competing stakeholder needs — high-volume operations needs automated pipeline integration, corporate hiring needs global package ordering automation, operations teams need manual touch elimination, and legal teams have country-specific compliance requirements. Your job is to cut through that noise, figure out what matters, and ship.Your roadmap includes direct leadership goal dependencies: eliminating millions of manual transactions through workflow automation, launching screening capabilities natively into Amazon's high-volume hiring platform, expanding automated screening coverage to new countries and workforce segments, and building self-service experiences that give every persona real-time visibility into screening progress. Longer term, you will execute a vision that transforms screening from a collection of point solutions into a composable, vendor-agnostic platform — one that enables Amazon to onboard any population in any country through a single architecture, with automated package selection, intelligent adjudication, and unified case management that scales without proportional operational investment. This role thrives in complexity. You'll operate across 60+ countries with vendors who have different integration capabilities, business lines with different screening requirements, and workforce populations with different compliance obligations — and you'll be the one who synthesizes those inputs into a coherent platform direction. That requires analytical depth, comfort with ambiguity, and the judgment to make prioritization calls when not everyone can get what they want at the same time. What you get in return: ownership of the screening platform that determines whether every person who works with Amazon can start on time, and the chance to build the unified experience framework that makes it all work.Key job responsibilities- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for screening services across the full candidate-to-employee lifecycle — from pre-employment initiation through adjudication, post-employment testing, and ongoing compliance — building a unified platform across 60+ countries.- Design and deliver experience layers for multiple personas — candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, operations teams, and compliance stakeholders — each with tailored interactions built on shared platform capabilities.- Drive platform transformation — defining the encapsulated service architecture, expanding screening capabilities to new populations and geographies, and building automated initiation and adjudication workflows.- Navigate complex vendor and stakeholder landscapes — managing relationships with multiple global screening vendors while aligning with hiring, operations, legal, and compliance teams who all depend on your platform but have competing priorities.- Partner with engineering leads across three teams on system design decisions — API design, vendor integration patterns, and high-level architecture and how they scale across diverse populations.Define success metrics, use data to drive prioritization, and own launches end-to-end — measuring manual touch reduction, screening cycle time, vendor SLA compliance, and customer experience impact post-launch.A day in the lifeYou work at the intersection of customer experience, vendor platform architecture, and global compliance. You collaborate with engineering on platform decisions, partner with screening operations and vendor teams on integration requirements, and align with legal and compliance teams across countries. You balance new capability delivery against technical debt, use data to drive prioritization, and ensure screening experiences are consistent and reliable for candidates, hiring teams, and operations across every workforce segment and geography.About the teamWe empower our customers by providing integrated, people-focused solutions that streamline hiring processes for WW Stores, AWS, Devices, and Talent Acquisition. Job DescriptionEvery day, customers run millions of queries on Amazon Athena -- from ad-hoc exploration to mission-critical pipelines. Today, they get results. Tomorrow, we want them to understand why their queries behave the way they do -- how much they cost, where time is spent, what went wrong, and what to do about it. We're developing new capabilities in Athena to enable customers, both external and internal, to do this.Amazon Athena is an interactive query service that simplifies data analysis in Amazon S3 using standard SQL. Athena is serverless, so there is no infrastructure to set up or manage. Our customers use Athena to process logs, perform data analytics, and run interactive queries and get started quickly. This includes publishing data to customer accounts, using your experience in AI/ML to drive deeper and more valuable insights and optimizations for customers and in our service. You'll have an opportunity to coach and mentor the team, learn more about query engines from the team and through experience, and grow our ability to make Athena even easier to use.Key job responsibilitiesOur ideal candidate has excellent programming skills, is an independent decision-maker with high judgement to build distributed systems supporting and delighting customers. A day in the lifeThe Insights & Extensions team is part of the Athena Engine organizations. In this role, you will work through other SDEs on our team, partner with your manager and other Sr. SDEs in and outside of our team to build and execute our roadmap.
