2000: promoted the National Institute of Higher Education to the electronic university center under the Executive Decree No. 197 - 2000 dated 25 July 2000 on the establishment of the University Center Paljlvh.
2009: University Center to upgrade the University and under the Executive Decree No. 09 - 09 dated 04 January 2009 concerning the establishment of the University of Djelfa
Estimated the total number of students enrolled at the University of Djelfa season university 2015-2014 b 23950 students, Muaan on 06 colleges and 16 Departments of the Institute.
Djelfa University includes four (04) procuratorates for the presidency of the University:
- on behalf of the University Directorate of the Higher composition of the gradient and continuous training and certification.
- on behalf of the University Directorate of Higher formation in post-graduation and university training and scientific research.
- on behalf of the University of the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation and activation, communication, and scientific demonstrations
- the university on behalf of the Directorate for Development and anticipative and guidance
