Currently, there are 29 departments at the university. NSUEM graduates are trained to be IT specialists, skilled lawyers, diverse managers, international relations staff, tourism majors, etc. NSUEM possesses a multilevel system of further education, such as undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Moreover, there is the Board of Postgraduate Studies works at the university. NSUEM Business College is a vocational institution specialized in numerous fields. NSUEM actively implements state-of-the-art educational technologies: professional simulations, workshops, project techniques, and on-line education. There are four faculties at NSUEM: Economics Department Department of Social Studies and Humanities Law Department IT Department Resulted from practice-oriented education; approximately 90 percent of NSUEM graduates find a job after their commencement. NSUEM is a regional center of postgraduate education: the MBA program provides training for the white collars, APTECH program is focused on training IT specialists. Also, there are retraining programs and advanced training programs. Cooperation with international universities and organizations is an integral part of NSUEM life resulted in active student exchange programs. NSUEM has over 12 000 enrolled students. The number of university faculty is over 430, 53 Doctors of Science and 232 Ph.D. of Science. NSUEM actively and continuously develops its facilities. The total space of NSUEM facilities (including the new academic block) is about 50 000 square meters. There is a comfortable modern swimming pool. NSUEM supports different forms of extracurricular activity for students, such as student unions, dance and vocal studios, a drama school, etc. NSUEM has launched the Extracurricular Trajectories Project. Extracurricular trajectories are a new approach in the field, which are unique ones in Russia. NSUEM is comprised of 7 extracurricular trajectories. Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management has been conducting research programs in Economics, Humanities, Social Studies, and Technical Sciences. NSUEM has postgraduate studies programs, and there are three Thesis Boards. Research programs are conducted in the following fields: Information Systems and Processes Economics and Management of National Economy Accounting and Statistics Social Philosophy Sociology of Management. The university faculty actively publishes their articles and papers in both Russian and foreign journals. NSU is home to the Laboratory of Strategic and Foresight Studies, Sociological Laboratory, Siberian Educational and Touring Alliance (SETA), and other research projects. NSUEM is a host and a member of important international, national and regional scientific and educational conferences, fora, symposia. The most famous is the Festival of Science, the Siberian Banking Forum, the Siberian Communication Forum NovoPRsk, etc. NSUEM supports talented and active students and faculty. Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) was founded in 1930 as the Siberian Institute of Construction (Sibstrin). Being the first higher educational establishment in the field of construction and architecture in Novosibirsk, it has been considered for many years to be the only one in that field in the entire region of Siberia, Far East, and Central Asia of the former Soviet Union. In 1935 the Institute was transformed into Novosibirsk Institute of Civil Engineering, named after V.V.Kuibyshev. In July 1993, the Institute changed its name to Novosibirsk State Academy of Construction. In June 1997, the Academy got the status of the University. Since 2003 the full name of the University has been Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Nowadays, NSUACE (Sibstrin) is an extensive educational and scientific establishment providing training of specialists for Russia's construction industry. The University carries out researches in various fields: mechanics of solids, fluid mechanics, CAD systems, nanotechnology, winter concreting technology, and developments for mechanization of construction. The University has gained universal recognition. In order to facilitate international cooperation and to strengthen its position in the competitive international education market, Sibstrin University has founded the Consortium of Novosibirsk Universities (CNU), which includes the largest universities of the city: National Research Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University, Siberian University of Geoinformation and Technologies and Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin). In June 2015, Sibstrin and UNESCO agreed to establish a UNESCO Chair on Theory and Technology of Environmental Safety in Water Resources Control at Sibstrin University. According to the Public Organizations "Business Russia," Sibstrin enters the top 50 higher educational establishments graduating specialists in high demand in the labor market. Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering has the State Accreditation Certificate and the License for the Right of Conducting Educational Activity. New scientific staff's acute need allowed Novosibirsk State University to occupy a unique position: new educational and sports buildings and dormitories were built very quickly. The academic staff was trained quickly, and the University opened even earlier than many scientific institutes. The scientists were enthusiasts who felt their development was limited in other large cities. They set out to create Siberia's most unique educational project. They were the people who decided what Novosibirsk State University should be, defining and defending its principles and mission. Novosibirsk State University quickly grew. During the first nine years, 900 professionals were trained within its walls. It consisted of 8 departments, was staffed with 270 teachers, and conducted research in 46 sections. The Department of Physics and the Mechanics and Mathematics Department almost immediately spun off the Department of Natural Sciences. Just a few years later, the Department of Humanities has established and the Department of Geology and Geophysics. In 20 years 2000, Novosibirsk State University graduates worked in various institutions of SB USSR AS, and 500 members of the Academy of Sciences were lecturing at the University. Novosibirsk State Technical University is one of the largest universities in Siberia. It was established in 1950 as Novosibirsk Electric Technical Institute (NETI). In 1992 it was renamed Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU). The university offers about 120 programs of study in technical, economic, and humanitarian fields at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph. D., and post-doctoral levels. Approximately 3000 faculty members and employees work at the university. The total number of enrolled students exceeds 25 thousand. In 2010 the Novosibirsk State Medical University (NSMU) celebrated its 75th anniversary! The university's history is closely related to the history of public health services in Novosibirsk city, in southwestern Siberia, and, perhaps, in the entire country. Seventy-five years in the business means a rich history. Through all those years, the NSMU has been fulfilling one mission: teaching to heal people. The university has been teaching young men and women to understand a medical doctor's professional duty to serve people and devote oneself to this service. Teaching to heal is much more complicated than teaching any other profession in the world. Many generations of brilliant doctors and scientists have graduated from NSMU over the years. Academicians, professors, leaders of numerous medical institutions are among our graduates. In 75 years, over 32 thousand doctors graduated from the university. Year after year, young doctors graduate into jobs in public health and medical research. The people who worked and studied at the NSMU over the years are the NSMU history. People indeed make history, and the living proof of this is the 75 NSMU graduates included in the list of NSMU Human Treasures. Their lives interlaced with the history of Novosibirsk, and Russia demonstrate how one person can make a difference. By giving their knowledge, skills, and souls to the profession and society, these people imprinted their names in the history of NSMU. NSMU is proud of all the fantastic people working here and contributing to medicine in Novosibirsk and Russia, and the entire world. The NSMU leaders today are established doctors who also work at the city clinics and hospitals. Looking into the Novosibirsk State Medical University's future, we can say with certainty that the university will continue its growth as it always has. Seventy-five years ago, the NSMU had only one faculty. Today we have eight faculties, but this is not our limit. Public health care institutions need doctors, accountants, lawyers, public health care specialists. We will continue to grow by breaking stereotypes, modernizing the education process, setting high standards for teachers, and providing society with exceptionally well-trained specialists in public health care. Novosibirsk State Medical University is closely connected to reasonable health care. The health education process at NSMU involves university academic staff and students' engagement in providing health care at clinics and medical offices in Novosibirsk. Teaching staff, interns, residents, graduate, and postgraduate students assist in operations, examine and treat patients, and provide emergency help. The Novosibirsk State Medical University is now among the top medical universities in Russia. It has great history and traditions, highly professional academic staff.
