    The Defense Group of Leidos has an opening for an Inventory Management Refresh Analyst at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. JOB SUMMARY: The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), leased spaces, and alternate sites within the National Capital Region (NCR). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be a Inventory Management – Technical Refresh team member for all support areas, assisting the asset management team execute workstation life-cycle management processes to keep user workstation capabilities in-line with current Air Force standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports inventory management assignments and performs technical work with the team. Implements processes for asset refreshment and deployment and assists team in performing the work in accordance with those processes. Validates any asset changes are documented, ensuring inventories are current, accurate, complete, and integrated with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and other required Air Force tools. Carries out daily functions to assist with the life-cycle refresh of over 5,000 assets annually. Occasionally travels to geographically separated locations within the National Capital Region to execute bulk technical refresh appointments. Coordinates and schedules technical refreshes appointments with organization points of contact. Continuously working to achieve over all objects both long and short term as a team member and individual contributor. Assists in providing weekly and monthly reports to contract and government leads on the status of tech refresh management and annual goals. Assists with identifying improvements to asset management and tech refresh processes by working with Government stakeholders, external organizations, and internal teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Supports efforts with lifecycle repository for all assets consistent with an Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) system of record (e.g., Remedy). (US Citizenship required) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Plan and design secure network solutions to consolidate or migrate connectivity services under an enterprise service. •Partner with key stakeholders and technical experts to perform legacy environment discovery, assessing current capabilities, configurations, and unique requirements to develop a design and architecture leveraging approved design patterns. •Design secure wide area connectivity inclusive of underlay, overlay, and COI transport design that supports performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements. •Provide secure access solutions leveraging wired and wireless technologies, integrating standards, use cases/scenarios, and develop associated implementation and transition plans. •Integrate capacity planning and scaling of network and security stack environments into the overall design of solutions. •Collect, investigate, and identify network optimization strategies and techniques to meet capacity and performance standards. •Identify legacy service paths (i.e. dataflow, firewall rulesets, and ACLs) and develop strategies and designs for the to-be enterprise service capability to meet requirements while balancing security, sustainability, and maintainability. •Support development of IP addressing schemes across IPv4 and IPv6 networks. •Work with information assurance teams to ensure compliance to DoD standards to assist with providing accreditation artifacts. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years' experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience (additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree).Require network certification which shall meet or exceed a CCNA (comparable vender certification accepted upon review).Require active DoD IAT Level II (i.e. Security+) certification or equivalent prior to start.Experience documenting logical or physical designs using drawing tools (e.g. Visio, Powerpoint, Gliffy, Cameo, MagicDraw) to depict systems, subsystems, interfaces, components, and communications of I/T applications and infrastructureExperienced and comfortable with conducting technical troubleshooting to resolve issues.Experience conducting site surveys or analyzing data obtained from site surveys.Experience creating or executing a migration plan to move circuits, network traffic, services, applications, or data between environments or to a commercial cloud provider. Alternatively, experience planning or executing a technology refresh or lifecycle refresh of an existing I/T system.Heavily experienced in upgrading and LCR of network devices.Must have broad exposure to common I/T infrastructure networking in the areas of LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, Proxies, Routing(L2/L3), and Firewalls.Must have experience in working with two or more of the following vender network technologies: Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell, Brocade, and Fortinet.Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing medium to large network infrastructure and producing corresponding technical documentation.Must be able to work as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This shall include drafting SOPs and technical documentation.Must be able to present designs and plans to technical leadership personnel and boards for approvals. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.Demonstrate experience in one or more of the following enterprise network management tools such as PaloAlto Panorama, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco DNA, What’s Up Gold, or Junos Space.Experience in designing and implementing VTC solutions.Experience with ScienceLogic SL1 and/or SolarWinds.Hands on experience with SD-WAN.Demonstrate expertise in design and improvement of complex and geographically enterprise networks.Expert knowledge of DoD security requirements for network infrastructure.Demonstrate experience in system hardening of network infrastructure to include DoD STIG implementation.     Contributes to the strategic development of new platform development, as needed, based on customer needs. Performs management and configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules, product development, service automation, and system integration. Lead or mentor junior developers on an agile, ServiceNow implementation team Actively collaborates with other teammates to perform code reviews, discuss new developments and projects, and shadow other junior admins/developers as needed. Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and/or discussions with team members and stakeholders. Aids with reporting configuration and maintenance and performs operational administrative tasks, as needed. Demonstrate thought leadership resulting in new technical capabilities and approaches. Provide and/or develop subject matter expertise on ServiceNow development and modules as required. Participate in internal and customer meetings understand requirements, identify unique use cases, and implement information technology solutions / initiatives. Perform full spectrum of software development lifecycle (SDLC), to include systems modeling, simulation, analysis, testing and debugging assigned components and units. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree– may substitute additional years of experience. 5+ years technical experience is required US Citizenship with Active Secret clearance A current IAT level II compliant with DoD 8570.1 certification Experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods. Experience with Web development, including X–HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript. Intermediate knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques. Intermediate knowledge of the hardware, software, and systems associated with software engineering. Knowledge of ServiceNow update sets and experience with deploying ServiceNow applications and configurations in to different ServiceNow instances Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ServiceNow SERVICE PORTAL design and end-user/customer experience such as development of professional, compelling design and graphical interface for Service Portal Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services protocols Database design and development Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies. ITIL Foundations certifications is a plus.
