    The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking an Electronics Engineer to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) Program. FENS is the successor to the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract, which was implemented in 2002 to provide over 30,000 communications services to more than 4,500 facilities within the National Airspace System. The Project Leidos currently has an opening for a Virtual Product Solutions (VPS) Program Manager to work in our Orlando, FL office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the virtual training mission where virtual training solutions are designed and deployed. This Program Manager will oversee all work aspects of creating visual, audio, radio and motion inputs in simulations that stimulate trainees to learn, while performing training tasks to standard. Your Main Goal: Manage large program(s) P&L, including budgets, technical scope, risks/opportunities in order to achieve the business commitments. Responsible for leading hardware, software, test, and production personnel to achieve Program requirements. Manage order demand within Deltek Costpoint accounting/MRP software. Provide operational oversight and coaching to program and technical managers. Lead staff to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognition. Serve as main point of contact for Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), Government Program Manager, and Contractor’s senior management. Work collaboratively with the Business Development organization and other sales/capture support personnel to achieve business growth targets. What Sets You Apart: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight (8) or more years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of six (6) or more years of relevant experience; in program management, production control, engineering and experience working in a DoD acquisition environment Position requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. Proven experience with Virtual Systems, Training Devices, Crew and Collective Trainers and Distributed Training Systems, Familiarity with HLA, DIS protocols. Proven experience successfully managing programs with different contract types (CPFF, FFP). Extensive hands-on knowledge of industry best practices in program and project management, production control, earned value management, overseeing software development, application modernization and/or database projects. History of successfully leading and managing a program of high complexity providing products, innovation/R&D, services, and customer support. Proven successful track record of achieving on contract growth (OCG) and winning re-competes, takeaways, and new business. Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project, ERP System Experience) Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings with large groups of people. Possess a current Project Management Professional certification or a DoD equivalent certification (i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PM Level III) You Might Also Have: Current working relationships with PEO STRI customers. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with Government Furnished Equipment. Experience with AS9100 and DCMA standards. Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry best practices, DoD standards, and Army standards. Manufacturing leadership experience in the Aerospace, Defense, or Automotive industries. A strong working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint MRP. Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles.
