Applying industry standards and quality controls to the daily function of an jet engine maintenance shop to ensure the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of products and services. The individual will be working with and supporting the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast located at NAS JAX. This position will be responsible for approving FAI’s, interacting with suppliers and other departments to ensuring all material being delivered is serviceable. Ensure compliance with AS 9100 through audits and developing standard work to comply with the standard will be a day-to-day function of this role. Collaborating between the customer, partner and suppliers will be a critical part of this position. This individual will also be responsible to supporting and leading investigations and driving open action items to closer. What You Will Do: Perform product, process, work instruction reviews,and AS9100/9110 audits.Review and approve FAI’s, Service Masters, Work Instructions, Quality Notifications, resolve technical/quality issues.Leading teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventiveactions.Improve manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes to reduce and prevent defects and prevent quality escapes to our customers. Develop and deliver technical training to the inspection and operations teams. Support the development of productivity initiatives to improve product acceptance methodology.
