Includes supporting other product/business areas. The Product Support team plays a critical role in the successful execution of contracts and allows programs to remain compliant with the U.S. Government in all of our global business transactions. This opportunity provides exposure and visibility in the field of Global Trade operations and its strategic impact on global growth and success. What You Will Do Draft International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulation (EAR) export authorizations. Authorizations include Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), Manufacturing License Agreements (MLAs), DSP-5s, DSP-73s, DSP-85s, Exemptions and Exceptions Work with the Global Trade Manager and/or Empowered Official to develop export and import strategies to ensure FSR and product support activities are compliant with the ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations. Will also include strategies to support international marketing, sales, support, offshore procurement and manufacturing of defense and dual use articles Assist in the development of licensing plans and provide guidance for licensing strategy and program planning Assist in the provision of consistent regulatory interpretations under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to FSR and program employees Contribute to preparing, submitting, tracking, obtaining, and managing U.S. government-approved export and import authorizations. Develop and managing processes for ceramic matrix addition by Chemical Vapor Deposition/Infiltration (CVD/I) to produce ceramic matrix composites. Work closely with manufacturing and engineering integrated teams to develop new processes and implement new designs into production to enhance material performance, eliminate quality turn backs, escapes, and reduce overall product costs. Apply Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) technical understanding to drive material development and refinement strategies. Play an active role in the Integrated Product Team process for CMC turbine components. Provide focused & effective leadership in eliminating EH&S/Ergonomics/Human Factors risks and addressing quality issues as processes transition into production.
