Job DescriptionBee's Engineering team is looking for experienced engineers with strong full-stack fundamentals to join one of the teams owning our current or emergent products. You'll be a technical leader who thinks holistically about the consumer and/or enterprise end user experience - be that via our wearable hardware, mobile apps, developer API, enterprise deployments, or mission-driven accessibility applications - and carry real end-to-end ownership. You'll partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, and hardware engineers to understand what's possible with ambient capture and redefine how people interact with always-on intelligence - and how to build it.We'll look to you to have a product-oriented mindset and input, own technical quality across the stack (performance, battery efficiency, privacy, real-time processing, and developer experience), scale your efforts from individual users to enterprise deployments, and carry genuine excitement about what ambient AI makes possible.Bee is a newly acquired Amazon company, but we operate with startup speed and autonomy. You get the resources and scale of Amazon with the velocity and ownership of a founding team.Key job responsibilitiesDeveloper Experience: You'll build the products and tools - API, SDKs, docs, and observability - that give developers the confidence to build on top of Bee's ambient intelligence platform. Our mission is to meet developers where they are and unlock what's possible when you have longitudinal, contextual data about a user's conversations, tasks, and. daily patterns. That means building trust through great platform fundamentals, inspiring developers to raise the bar in how they use ambient capture capabilities, and accelerating the path to contextual AI applications by designing APIs that respect privacy while delivering rich insights. You'll work closely with teams across the Platform org to turn Bee's ambient data into experiences developers can actually pick up and run with - from first integration to production applications. Accessibility & Impact: Accessibility Engineering brings Bee to communities who stand to benefit most from ambient AI assistance, people with memory challenges, ADHD/executive function needs, language learners, aging adults, and accessibility-first users. We're looking for a full-stack engineer to build the access programs, tooling, and product work that make ambient intelligence usable for people who couldn't access this capacity any other way. Enterprise AI Products: You'll work on the products that make Bee a daily-use tool for enterprise teams across industries – the connective tissue that lets ambient intelligence operate effectively across workflows. On this team you will systematically understand why Enterprise users aren't activating, what's blocking adoption, and building the capabilities to close those gaps.Growth: Drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization through data-driven strategies and technical implementations. At Bee, we're not just building a wearable; we're reimagining how ambient intelligence becomes part of daily life. As a member of the growth team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our growth strategy. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, marketers, and product managers to design, implement, and optimize growth initiatives that scale Bee adoption and maximize impact on how people capture and understand their daily lives.A day in the lifeBee is a newly acquired Amazon company, but we operate with startup speed and autonomy. You own outcomes, not tickets. You'll have access to Amazon's infrastructure and ML tooling, but the freedom to make architectural decisions like a 10-person startup. We move fast, ship often, and treat every day like we're still building something new..because we are. If you thrive in environments where your work directly shapes the product and you can see the impact of your code on people's daily lives, you'll love it here.
