Sagesse University, through its courses, thrives on serving the young generation, without any discrimination, to provide them a distinguished place in the domain of knowledge and access to the business world. This way, we are applying the policy of the rector (2001 - 2011), Mgr. Joseph Merhej, who aims at giving the young generation work visas instead of passports.

The rigorous teaching provided by the University, based on the respect of human and moral values, considers the requirements of innovation and the complicated and various globalization challenges.

From its new main campus located in the North-East of Beirut, at a crossroad joining the country's different arteries, Sagesse University continues its rational and well-balanced development with new achievements and relationships with other universities. The University promotes its openness and dialogue to move into new horizons.

The tireless efforts of the University Rector and all his collaborators consist, with this in mind, to implement the mission and goals of the University.

Sagesse University is the first national institution for higher education, which is deeply rooted in Lebanon and the neighboring countries' memory. It is present in our contemporary life with various degrees, taught through modern means and methods.

Sagesse contains in its two campuses the following faculties:

• Faculty of Canon Law
• Faculty of Ecclesiastical Sciences
• Faculty of Business Administration and Finance
• Faculty of Political Science and International Relations
• Faculty of Hospitality Management
• Faculty of Public Health
• Faculty of Engineering

Sagesse University is a private institution of higher education and is dependent on the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut. It enjoys the benevolence of its chancellor, His Excellency Mgr. Paul Matar, Maronite Archbishop of Beirut. According to international academic standards and legal provisions, it offers diplomas and academic certificates as required by the Lebanese Government.
