    The College of Business Administration (CBA) proudly represents Kuwait University's flagship of Administrative Sciences. Its mandate has been to create future generations of business professionals who will meet the demands of the current century with confidence, creativity, and cutting edge knowledge—in the fields of finance, economics, marketing, accounting, management & information science, and public administration—to participate in the life of Kuwait's modern corporations with responsibility and vision as a force for good.
    CBA's purpose is to educate, train and inspire students to realize their full potential through self-discovery, connection to community, meaningful work, love of learning, and a life of purpose as both Kuwaiti professional and global citizens. As part of Kuwait University, the leading national institution of higher education, the College of Business Administration is committed to providing quality business education and engaging in research and community services to contribute to the country's socio-economic development.
    Students at CBA benefit, not only from an excellent academic program, a dedicated teaching faculty, and constant interaction with colleagues but also from the pristine atmosphere in which CBA is surrounded. CBA is located at the Shuwaikh Campus, which offers an ideal environment and ample services for study and research. With more than 30,000 square meters of usable space, the CBA building features advanced, scalable technology to facilitate the innovative teaching style of the College's faculty, and large open spaces in which both faculty and students can mingle and learn from each other outside of the classroom.
    The Department of Accountancy has been preparing students for careers in accounting and auditing since 1967. Today's department offers degrees at the undergraduate and master levels. The Success of our accountancy department is the result of the combined efforts of our faculty, our students, our active student accounting club, and our teaching assistant faculty. Our graduates continue to influence the development of the accounting profession. Many of our alumni hold a crucial position in all the sectors of the economy, the government, and not-for-profit organizations. Our goal is to offer students rich, multicultural learning experience with academic programs that will prepare them for a productive career and a lifetime of socially responsible citizenship in the global economy.
    The Department of Economics aims to provide the students of the College of Business Administration and those specializing in Economics with the necessary analytical tools and skills, which will enable them to understand and analyze the current economic issues in International, Regional, and Local Economies. This is carried out following the needs of the job markets, both in the private and the government sectors. In order for a student to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Economics, he/she must complete 120 credit hours (units), which are comprised of 30 units of general university requirements, 51 units of joint college requirements, 33 units of specialization requirements, and six units of free electives.
    Department of finance and financial institutions (FFI) is to enable our students, graduate, and undergraduates, to be key contributors in all the fields of financial management. To accomplish this mission, we strive to develop and enhance our curriculum and programs continuously. The latest reward for these efforts is the acceptance of our Bachelor's degree into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. This status is granted to institutions whose degree program(s) incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). FFI adopts 1 st class textbooks and teaching ancillaries. FFI's programs match those of the highest standards.
    Department of Management And Marketing is to direct, develop, and deliver quality teaching, research, and service activities toward developing and enhancing students' abilities. Thus, utilizing resources in identifying, assembling, and coordinating the skills to create and foster an institutional culture that helps students participate in enhancing economic wealth within ethical and societal boundaries.
    The primary commitment of the faculty is to provide excellent undergraduate teaching. In supporting the mission of Kuwait University College of Business Administration, our program contributes to expertise in developing the basics of leadership, enhancing the ethical understanding while engaging in businesses, organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and small business administration, government and society, strategic management, international business, and strategic management. In addition to the latter, the program is aimed at graduating competent students that play a significant role in enhancing the areas of markets, products, and services, distribution, promotion, and pricing. Students should thus be capable of achieving their goals and meeting the needs and wants of employers, customers, and society.
    The Public Administration program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become productive and efficient leaders in both the public and private sectors. The program revolves around making students capable of understanding, functioning, and succeeding in the dynamic environment in which organizations operate. Primary skills emphasized in the program include, but not limited to, leadership, volunteerism, critical thinking, problem-solving, and policy analysis. Emphasis is also placed on decision-making processes within the various forces that exist in society. The program recognizes that students require a holistic understanding of the theories underpinning public and business administration. They can relate one functional area to another to draw upon knowledge and skills learned throughout the program to contribute to the advancement and well being of society.
