      1. Unity Concord International School (UCIS) was founded in 2017 by Amporn and Chugait Garmolgomut. The Garmolgomuts are award-winning teachers and school administrators with more than 25 years of experience as educators. The other schools operated by Amporn and Chugait Garmolgomut are Americana Chinese International School (ACIS), Little Stars Bilingual School, Ambassador Bilingual School (ABS), CEC Language School, and Finn College. Unity Concord International School is an American International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Creating together is the school motto and at UCIS, local & international students receive an American standard education. This provides the students with the knowledge & competencies required for University and more. The Fees listed below on the Edarabia site include optional extras such as ESL. Please visit our website at www.ucis.ac.th to get more information. UCIS originated in response to the growing need of an increasing population and the requests of parents seeking to enroll their children in an American education system. This need, backed by a school that will provide the opportunity for their children to attend higher-level education at Universities both in Thailand and abroad, is why UCIS was established. The school was founded (2016) and opened its doors to students on August 28th, 2017, at the time only offering Pre-Kindergarten to grade 5 with an enrollment of approximately 150 students. This number climbed throughout the year to approximately 220 students by the end of the second semester. The 2018-19 school year began with the opening of a new campus on the other side of the superhighway. Pre-Kindergarten to grade 2 remained on the first campus while grades 3 to 11 migrated to the new location. The addition of grades 6-11 raised the enrollment to its current level of approximately 580 students. UCIS is split almost evenly between genders with boys outnumbering girls by a marginal 3%. The class sizes are capped at 20 per classroom grades Pk-K3, 26 for grades 1-6, and 32 in grades 7-12 to maintain the desired student-to-teacher ratio. Pre-Kindergarten to grade 6 has more students as grades 7-11 are composed entirely of new students while grades 6 and below include returning students. Our Student population consists primarily of Thai, Chinese, Korean, American, and mixed-race individuals. Thai students account for approximately 37% of the population with Chinese contributing almost 33%. This makes a total of 70% falling into one of those categories and the remaining 30% are divided between American (~4%), Korean (~5%), and various other nationality students. The other nationalities include mixed-nationality students who account for approximately 21% of the total population. Unity Concord International School is located across two campuses one on either side of the Super Highway in the Nong-Pheung sub-district of Sarapee in the city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The school’s campuses are located in a less populated area about a twenty-minute drive South East of the Old City, which is the center of Chiang Mai city. In August 2018, all UCIS students will be located on the current Unity 2 Campus with the new ACIS school taking over the current Unity 1 Campus. The new Unity 2 campus includes an area devoted to student housing, small businesses, and various dining options. This area is known as Unity Park and was designed to provide a convenient service to parents and students alike. Being on a major thoroughfare provides good accessibility for families bringing their students to and from campus. For further information, please contact us at 053-14251719 or [email protected]. UCIS is registered with the Ministry of Education of Thailand, I.S.A.T. (The International Schools Association of Thailand), and W.A.S.C* (The Western Association of Schools and Colleges) which is an official academic body responsible for the accreditation of public and private universities, colleges, secondary and elementary schools in California, USA. 2. Unity is a friendly school where all staff is positive and welcoming. Our skilled teachers deliver first-class education in partnership with our families and the community. We are a UNICEF Rights Respecting School and children’s rights are at the heart of all that we do. We are educating our children to be responsible, high-achieving citizens of the future. We opened in September 2015 with just two classrooms in the old Cheetwood center. In autumn 2016 we moved into our amazing new building with 14 light and airy classrooms. By 2019, Unity will have all year groups from Nursery to Year six. Our vision is that children are happy and engaged in their school. We will ensure that they know how to be healthy and can make good choices for themselves. We will support them to develop their thoughts and express their feelings in a safe environment. Unity Community Primary school will have a strong focus on Communication and Enterprise working with families to ensure children are confident communicators from an early age. Our focus on enterprise will raise achievement and help young people to become confident individuals, equipping them with skills for life to create a more positive and prosperous future for themselves. The children and families at our school have settled in Cheetwood and the Salford area from all over the world. We will harness their experiences to ensure our school curriculum is outward-looking. To understand the world around us more, Unity became a UNICEF Rights Respecting School in 2017. We have achieved this award in recognition of all the work we have done around children’s rights and embedding the UN Convention for the Rights of the Child (CRC) into everything we do Unity Community Primary was developed in response to parents and children wanting high-quality education on their doorstep. We’re passionate about families receiving outstanding services, families getting involved in their children’s education, and working with families to ensure children leave school with the skills they need to fulfill their dreams. The provision for the very youngest children at Unity is built on our belief that wellbeing is central to children’s success. With a strong focus on nurture, we put children’s personal, social and emotional development at the heart of everything that we do. Our curriculum has a strong focus on understanding the world and is built around child-initiated, play-based learning. Our approach ensures that our children are confident, courageous, and willing to take risks in their learning. Early language levels are the biggest determiner of achievement in life. We have a strong focus on developing language and communication in all aspects of the curriculum. Unity has achieved Level 1 of the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Award, which means that we place children’s rights at the heart of all we do. Article 29 from the Convention for the Rights of the Child says: “Education must develop every child’s personality, talents, and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child’s respect for human rights as well as respect for their parents, their own and other cultures and the environment.” Children in school know this article as, ‘your right to be the best you can be’ and strive to respect this right for everyone every day. At Unity we believe children’s emotional well-being is also very important, so we have a strong pastoral curriculum that will develop resilient, tolerant, responsible, and active citizens of the future. Empowered by a strong sense of wellbeing our children can develop real and meaningful skills which are embedded through practical experience and application. Our children aim high and stay positive, knowing that making mistakes is an important part of learning. We are passionate about the way that we work. We feel strongly that putting wellbeing first creates curious, independent, and creative learners who are secure in their own ability to apply what they know. We know that our local community values education and wants the very best for their children. They want their children to understand the purpose of education, be enterprising and enjoy learning. We work with parents and children to make this happen - parents will lead the development of the school and the nursery, and be involved in all aspects their views will be listened to and valued. Unity will help your child achieve their aspirations and potential and deliver the highest standards of education, behavior, and attendance through working together. Together means you, your children, your extended family, the community, teachers, and volunteers. We strive for families to be involved in everything we do – from making decisions about our building to the color of the uniform for children at the school. We want families to feel part of their children’s education and shape the way their children learn. Our nursery provision caters to 2-4-year-old children. At Unity School Nursery, we give children great opportunities to learn through imagination, creativity, and play in a safe, fun space. We encourage children to be creative, have outdoor adventures, and make memories while learning new skills. We understand how hard it can be to leave your child in the care of others, so we make sure that being at nursery is the next best place to home. Our team is dedicated to looking after your child in whatever way they need, every day. We believe that you are never too young to take the first steps towards fulfilling your dreams. Our nursery has an enthusiastic teacher helping your child get ready for their journey to school. Unity is part of The Big Life group. Big Life is in the business of changing lives, creating opportunities for people who have the least. The Big Life group has more than twenty years of experience working with children and families in Manchester, running nurseries, crèches, and children’s centers. We also run Longsight Community Primary School. We’re passionate about families receiving outstanding services and getting involved in their children’s education, and we work with families to ensure children leave school with the skills they need to fulfill their dreams. 5. Unity College is a co-educational Christian school of the Lutheran Church of Australia located in the heart of the Murraylands in the rural city of Murray Bridge, South Australia. Proudly offering a unique educational program, Unity College boasts modern facilities, innovative approaches to learning and is committed to putting students first and providing them with many opportunities to ensure they achieve success in whatever career they choose and to enable them to be successful contributors to the community. The main entry points for enrollment at Unity College are Reception, Year 7, and Year 8; however, enrollment can be offered at any level depending on availability. At Unity College Murraylands, we focus on ''students first'' and deliberate about this in all aspects of college life. We intend to ensure that students are placed at the core of our teaching and learning programs, pastoral care and extra-curricular opportunities offered, and are flexible to their changing needs, circumstances, and future goals. We encourage our students to use their God-given gifts and talents to serve as equal partners in the college community. ''Students first'' encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process and partner with staff and the broader community in their learning journey. We inspire students to become leaders in our school and, in doing so, actively mentor, support, and encourage one another. Unity College Murraylands has three sub-schools over two closely situated campuses. These sub-schools enable students to be taught and nurtured to best suit their level of development and cater to their individual needs. Pastoral care at Unity College aims to build and develop positive relationships with one another and support their social, emotional, and physical well-being. Unity College staff are skilled educators who utilize best-practice teaching methodologies to serve the students in their care best. They provide strong academic support to be the very best they can be through the broad range of subject offerings that include various academic and Vocational subjects. Mission Statement is Unity College: In the heart of the Murraylands striving for excellence in education and spiritual growth in a safe, caring, forgiving Christian environment. Students come first in an exceptionally caring Christian environment where opportunities and diversity result in inspired learning and development. We Learn: Unity helps each student reach their full potential and encourages them to be the best they can be. We Care: Unity cares for students and provides a safe and nurturing environment because ''happy children learn best''. We Engage: Unity provides modern, spacious, and functional facilities that engage students who enjoy and have a desire to learn. We Involve: Unity involves parents and the broader community in student learning because ''it takes a village to raise a child''. We Inspire: Unity inspires students through innovative educators who encourage individuality and diversity because each student learns differently. Built on the Murray Bridge Lutheran School (now the site of the current Junior School), Unity College became the first R-12 Lutheran School to be established in South Australia in 2001. The Murray Bridge Lutheran School opened in 1978 with 135 students and five staff. With steady growth, the community saw a need for a Lutheran Secondary College to be established in Murray Bridge, and in 1995 an application to extend to Year 10 was approved. The purpose of Lutheran schools is to make Jesus Christ known to the students and families. Yet the schools are also educational institutions, which must do the educational task well. Schools will do this when they pursue what is educationally best for each student, within a Christian context and from a Christian point of view. Lutheran schools can never sacrifice their spiritual centeredness for the sake of education, or they would no longer be schools of the church. Nor can Lutheran schools forsake their educational purposes in the interests of spirituality, or they would forfeit the right to be schools. It is indeed a tension that needs to be held in balance.

      7. For over fifty years, Unity College has been preparing the next generation of environmental professionals and leaders to face real-world challenges successfully. We believe that we should serve a broad range of students from all backgrounds across the U.S. — and the world. To be responsive to the rapidly changing needs of students and society, Unity College has adopted an enterprise model as its institutional organization, expanding the college into two distinct units that offer both undergraduate and graduate environmental degrees: flagship campus and distance education. On our flagship campus, our liberal arts curriculum is built upon a unique framework of sustainability science — the first of its kind in the nation. A distinctive approach to learning provides our students with an exceptional, high-quality education, enabling them to drive real change with leading-edge knowledge and expertise within any of our environmentally focused majors. Our unique location provides extraordinary opportunities for hands-on learning and research, and active and engaged students work together with forward-thinking faculty to make real community-based learning possible. From 225 wooded acres of farmland overlooking Unity Pond in the tranquil village of Unity, Maine, we prepare each of our students to make a mark on the world. Our distance education unit started in 2016, extending the effects of a Unity College education to adult learners and beyond the flagship campus's physical confines. Unity College Online offers affordable, accredited bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and non-degree credits, ideal for working professionals seeking to advance their careers, helping students become the changemaker the world needs while still honoring their commitments, wherever they are. Whoever and wherever you are, Unity College can offer environmental education for those committed to solving the world's most pressing environmental problems. Unity College provides a liberal arts education that emphasizes the environment and natural resources through the framework of sustainability science. Our graduates emerge as responsible citizens, environmental stewards, and visionary leaders through experiential and collaborative learning. The mission of Unity College has never been more relevant or necessary. We know that our students will face a world of converging environmental and economic crises. Through a curriculum emphasizing sustainability science, we are committed to providing students with the capacity to successfully address these looming global changes. Sometimes, traditional academic programs overlook the fact that learning is essentially experiential. Our hands-on approach, combined with our small class sizes, means that fieldwork is the rule rather than the exception at Unity. On any given day, your classroom might be a whale-watching expedition, an animal shelter, a hunter check station, or the top of a mountain. Your lab time might include farming, camping, animal handling, ropes work, building, rock climbing, first aid, or any number of other activities. Our core Environmental Citizen Curriculumconnects all students and degree tracks together with a science-based liberal arts foundation. This means you will learn to read deeply, write, and speak effectively—and think. We realize that every academic discipline—every subject—supplies just one piece of the complex puzzle needed to solve the problems our students will face in an uncertain future. While we offer students a choice of several distinct baccalaureate degrees, each degree program includes courses in the natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities: an integrated framework known as sustainability science. The Unity College experience is more than just an excellent education. It is about being part of a beautiful, vibrant community of passionate and active learners—people who inspire change in the world around them. The Unity College experience has never been more relevant or necessary. We face a world of converging environmental and economic issues—and Unity College prepares students to face them head-on. Unity College is for you if you are passionate about sustainability science and want to drive real change. In and out of the classroom, you will learn to be resourceful and innovative, taking on the world's most pressing environmental problems. At Unity College, we focus on our students' fulfillment and professional success, both during their time at Unity and beyond. Our dedicated career services staff works hard to help students and alumni realize their career goals, providing one-on-one career counseling from day one of freshman year and on. Unity College is fully accredited and offers international students an affordable, quality private American university-level education focusing on the environment. Our entire curriculum is based on sustainability science, ensuring that when our students graduate, they are prepared for a multitude of global careers as environmental professionals. Based on the framework of sustainability science, our program is unique among colleges offering environmental programs, and we are a close-knit community of students, faculty, and staff in a unique location. We offer competitive, environmentally focused majors. All first-year students reside on campus. A college education is expensive. But if you are inspired to learn, grow, and succeed at Unity College, we want you to realize your dreams. Together, we can make that happen. We will work with you and your family to make a Unity College education affordable. We help approximately 90% of our students pay for their education by preparing personalized financial aid packages. 9. 11.

        Unity College
