The University of Bechar was created by Executive Decree No. 09-07 of 7 Moharram 1430 corresponding to January 4, 2009, After setting a level of Bechar university center, it is now one of the most prestigious universities of Algeria, it is the largest university in the southwest. Bechar University has nearly 12,000 students, 600 teachers, and 700 administrative staff, Students are divided into two major campuses: the University of Bechar and the university center lahmar. science and technology sector: the faculties of science and technology. economics and management industry: the faculty of economics, business sciences, and management sciences. Letters sector languages: the Faculty of Arts and languages. Law and political science sector: the faculty of law and political sciences. Sector Human and Social Sciences: Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. Of all the areas Bechar University offers approximately 110 specialties, divided between the 3 cycles license, Master, and Doctorate. The strategy of the University of Bechar about training offering is developed around key principles: improving the readability of curriculum, disciplinary and cross the consideration of the diversity of audiences. The university has 10 conference rooms, 13 amphitheaters, 2 libraries, 16 computer rooms, and 72 teachers' offices. There are 4 chemistry laboratories, 4 biology laboratories, 5 physics laboratories, 7 electronics laboratories, 7 electrotechnical laboratories, 5 engineering laboratories, a hydraulic laboratory, a languages laboratory, and 2 mechanical engineering workshops. There are two research facilities one is in the Department of Chemistry, and the other is an Energy Physics Laboratory. -
