    ROLE PURPOSEThis position will play a key role ensuring for CHC(Consumer Health Care) Tax accounting process are running both local and GBS(Global Business Services) level, focus on local tax compliance. Position Responsibilities Establishes and maintains departmental and site technical goals/agenda in support of Site Goals and KPIs, business and operating plans, and long-range planning. Allocates resources-human, financial, technical etc.-to fulfill near term goals and commitments while building towards sustainable plant operation and manufacturing excellence. Lead the Engineering Department to technically support and lead in the areas of daily operational support, issue resolution, deviations, investigations, CAPAs, product deliverables, process improvements, audit response items/CAPAs, site risk reduction elements, automation, and Safety/Environmental. Performs all aspects of project management including scope, cost, schedule, and resource allocation. It is the responsibility of this position to motivate and lead his/her organization according to Sanofi policies to achieve business objectives that will have a major impact on the success of the Site/Corporation. Supports the creation of the instruction set and ensures manufacturing operations stay aligned with the registered process. Ensures reliable and high quality on-the floor technical support to production and quality and facility operations. Provides technical leadership and input in process-related deviations, and investigation and CAPAs and supports the deviation and CAPA process to meet due date deliverable. Provides technical leadership and input in site/process risk assessments, Quality System Risk Assessment Mitigation, and in audit response CAPAs. Support these processes to meet due date deliverables. Defines relevant operational/technical standards and practices for the site. Identifies and drives implementation of improvements to maximize throughput and capacity utilization. Ensures all personnel, including contractors, consultants and temporary employees who work in department and directly or indirectly support a cGMP activity, have the necessary education, knowledge and skills to perform their job in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations. Ensures individual training/learning plans are kept current and that employees complete, and document all required initial and continuing training in accordance with the new Corporate Quality Standard for Training. Fosters continuous improvement in the site’s understanding of the technical fundamentals of site manufacturing and technologies. Support all internal and external audits as necessary. Job Requirements Education BS degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college required. Experience 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing support, project engineering, or machine design role. Professional Skills A successful candidate will be able to connect with all levels of the organization, have excellent documentation skills, ability to read and interpret documents and drawings and ability to write detailed reports as well as good verbal communication. Role Specific Competencies Experience using Six Sigma or similar processes for solving problems. This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
