Key Responsibilities Contribute to System Safety Programs and to overall product Safety Cases.Contribute to the completion of program milestones.Conduct system safety analysis and deliver associated system safety deliverables in accordance with the agreed schedule.Conduct reviews of supplier safety analysis and liaise with suppliers on system safety related matters.Populate the hazard tracking system and manage the associated data.Assist with the planning, co-ordination, and conduct of system safety working groups.Provide status and estimate remaining effort for assigned tasks.Identify and escalate risks using defined processes.Provide support to design reviews throughout the product lifecycle. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Requires a System Safety or risk assessment qualification(s).Desirable to have Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and/or Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) qualification(s).Desirable to have familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORSMinimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.Knowledge of Systems Engineering.Experience in carrying out hazard identification and analysis tasks including:Preliminary Hazard AnalysisHealth Hazard AnalysisOperation Support Hazard AnalysisSub System Hazard AnalysisSystem Hazard AnalysisAbility to work collaboratively with others to solve complex problems Applicants must be Australian citizens and have an active or be able to obtain Negative Vetting 1 Australian Defence Security Clearance.
