  1. Welcome Private University College of Teacher Education Augustinum (PPH Augustinum) The PPH Augustinum is the private educational university in Styria. It offers an innovative and value-oriented teacher education at a high level and with a distinctive atmosphere. Our program includes study and training courses in education and training for the teaching profession and other pedagogical occupational fields. At the PPH Augustinum, the formation of teachers and educators for other professions based on a Christian human, world, and divine image, according to the current scientific standards of teacher education and in a lively discourse between pedagogy, theology, and the other relevant disciplines.   2. Driestar Educatief is a center of knowledge for Christian education. In 1944 we started a small Reformed teacher training college. Since then, we have grown into a University of Professional education specializing in primary and secondary teachers' training. In 2005 this institution merged with an educational support center. Driestar Educatief is an institution with three departments and has 325 staff members. Our ambition is to offer programs that are up-to-date and in touch with teaching practice. All our programs have been ranked between first and fifth on teacher training programs' national rating lists. Special educational needs are one of our areas of expertise. We are closely involved with several primary schools and nurture a close relationship with practitioners in the field. Because of this involvement, we know what matters to teachers in their classrooms. Driestar Hoge school, part of Driestar Educatief, is a small-scale university with around 1,500 students. Our ambition is to offer programs that are up-to-date and in touch with current teaching practices. Our programs have all been ranked between first and fifth on teacher training programs' national rating lists. We offer several programs. At Driestar Educatief, all work is inspired by our conviction that the Bible is the everlasting and vital Source. It gives us fundamental principles for teaching and education. We feel called to evaluate all education trends according to biblical guidelines, and we hope to voice a (Protestant) Christian and (biblical) Reformed view on education in society. In a society where man himself has become the norm, we take this responsibility very seriously. We do educational research by evaluating theories (theoretical concepts) and then applying them to teachers in the field. We believe that knowledge can only be developed by working together with teachers and other practitioners and cooperating with our partners (across national and cultural borders). The student activities committee organizes events, such as: (Hymn) singing Politics Inspirational meetings Meals (i.e., New-Year's get-together) Sports Two to four students organize each of the events, and in the singing events, additional volunteers play musical instruments or lead the singing. Each term, we try to organize two singing events and one inspirational meeting. We also aim to organize an evening with a political theme, a sporting event, and a meal together twice a year.
  3. The primary goal of the University of Teacher Education Fukuoka is to train teachers who are rich in knowledge and full of teaching practical skills at undergraduate and postgraduate schools. The RCTP has several roles, namely, leading Faculty Development at Fukuoka University of Education, supporting and implementing our students’ practice teaching (kyoikujisshu) as well as developing the teaching of and research about multi-disciplinary subjects such as Human Rights and Dowa Education, Life Environment Studies (Seikatsuka), hours for comprehensive studies (Sogotekina-gakushu-no-jikan) and the school librarians’ licensing course. Center for Health and Sports Science carries out health management of students and employees in this university and health science research in an integrated manner in order to maintain and promote their physical and mental health. The Library and Information Resource Center provides books, scholarly journals, and information infrastructure and stimulating education and research within our university to support the management of promoting research using academic information. Also, this center contributes to the local community by providing academic information. The Library and Information Resource Center were established in 2014 by merging the attached Libraries and Information Processing Center. Educators work together on research projects which are designed to promote educational research. The library is in charge of academic information, such as books and scholarly journals. Students and teachers can utilize these. After earthquake-resisting repair work in 2013, the new library was opened in October 2014. It is opened to the public, and they are allowed to inspect documents, photocopy, and use the children’s library. Also, a new ”Learning Commons” is installed as a study space.
  4. The Hyogo University of Teacher Education is a front-runner in both practice of and research into teacher education in Japan. As a university specializing in this area, we have an excellent faculty of teacher education, as well as one of Japan's largest Master's and professional degree programs and Ph.D. programs. The Library and Information Resource Center were established in 2014 by merging the attached Libraries and Information Processing Center. Educators work together on research projects which are designed to promote educational research. The library is in charge of academic information, such as books and scholarly journals.   11. The Hyogo University of Teacher Education is a front-runner in both practice of and research into teacher education in Japan. As a university specializing in this area, we have an excellent faculty of teacher education, as well as one of Japan's largest Master's and professional degree programs and Ph.D. programs. The intention was to promote comprehensive research into the theory and application of a wide range of scientific matters related to school education and future foster teachers, with creativity, intelligence, and humanity, who can play an essential role in culture and society.
