The Opportunity Responsible for the efficient and effective collection of plasma from donors by performing venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensures that all donor questions are answered timely, accurately and professionally.Maintains alertness to any reaction by donors and assists with reactions or notifies appropriate staff.Uses Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record incidents that occur during the pheresis process, such as machine alerts and alarms, volume variances and donor adverse events.Required to perform calibrations and verify that maintenance has been performed as outlined in the SOPs. Required to respond to and resolve complex equipment alarms or donor issues.Troubleshoots equipment failures. Creates incident documentation, removes and/or replaces equipment from service.Monitors donor flow on the donor floor to assure continuous turnover. Administration and supervision of approved immunizations other than red blood cell immunizations. Provides limited emergency medical care to donors and staff, including the administration of medication or treatments in accordance with licensure or certification.Job Description1 Promotes positive customer relations with all donors. 2 Conducts confidential and effective interviews with donors to obtain necessary information regarding suitability to donate plasma. 3 In conjunction with the Center Medical Director and/or Center Physician responds to medically related questions from staff including donor suitability and provides information to staff on medically related issues. 4 Performs medical history reviews and health assessments on donors. Assesses results of donor screening and laboratory tests to determine initial and continuing donor suitability. 5 Notifies and counsels donors regarding reactive test results. Refers donors to community facilities for follow-up and counseling. 6 Explains informed consent to applicant donors. This includes explanation of procedures, hazards and potential adverse events; explanation of immunization schedules, dose and antibody response; providing clear opportunity for donor to refuse participation; obtaining signature and date certifying informed consent. 7 Handles medical emergencies at the Center by providing routine care as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); elevates situations to Center Physician or local medical service providers as required. Periodically checks emergency kits to assure supplies are present and in-date. 8 Reviews test results and determines continued donor suitability. Follows SOPs regarding acceptable ranges of four-month required test (PE/STS) reports. Maintains knowledge of and apply all rules regarding four-month approvals and grace periods. 9 Assess signs and symptoms a donor may exhibit that may result in the inability to continue donating. 10 Manages employee hepatitis B and influenza immunization program, including administration of immunizations. 11 Understands the policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center where applicable, and oversees donor immunization programs. Reviews antibody titer results as required. Maintains awareness of appropriate immunization schedule for each antigen. 12 Ensures the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in the SOPs. 13 Maintains clean efficient work environment, and ensures sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed. Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures. Promotes safety in all actions. Job Description SummaryResponsible for the accurate and timely sampling, testing, shipping and storage of plasma collected from donors. Job Description1 In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), responsible for collecting plasma samples and moving plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality. 2 Ensures plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs, which could include unsuitable plasma units and samples. 3 Ensures accuracy of unit labeling by verifying the pre-printed label matches the dynamic label. 4 Utilizes sterile technique to draw samples and uses heat sealer to assure the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs. 5 May ensure samples and units are packed and shipped in accordance with SOPs and center procedures. The OpportunityYou will manage the development and deployment of the CSL Global Trade Compliance program, in consideration of CSL Strategy and compliance commitment. Design and manage global Committee Deploy a Corporate Training program to ensure awareness and understanding of trade compliance requirements across businesses and function including TC, SC and logistics, Engineering, Innovation and R&D, Procurement, Legal and compliance, Tax and Finance, commercial teams, and regulatory affairs. · Develop Trade advocacy plan with the Enterprise Head of GTC to Influence Trade policies and lead GTC facilitation. · Contribute to hiring, promotions, performance appraisals, development and other people related decisions for Global Trade Compliance direct/indirect reports. · Provide guidance and direction on trade compliance matters to Regional Trade compliance teams, departments, and matrixed teams. The OpportunityResponsible for the continued development of CSL's world-class regional import-export compliance program. Its focus is to ensure all CSL legal entities operating worldwide are compliant with all applicable customs and trade regulations while maximize possible savings for the business. The Opportunity You will oversee the development and continuous improvement of the Global Trade Compliance Business Processes, internal controls, and global automation strategy. You will improve cost savings, efficiency throughout the processes involving Trade Compliance requirements, enhance compliance and support Business Process continuous improvement. The Opportunity:Reporting to the Associate Director, CMO’s, the Global Sourcing Senior Manager – Drug Substance will manage the Global Drug Substance (DS) CMO portfolio as a Category within the Global Procurement organization as part of the Direct Material and External Sourcing team. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the DS CMO Category sourcing strategy across CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus, and CSL Vifor (the entire CSL Group) to ensure best value for CSL while managing risk and maintaining compliance in sourcing and procurement practices. You will support development and execution of global initiatives across multiple regions. You will lead and/or support global sourcing or bid activities, lead sourcing projects and activities, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internal to CSL Group and within key regional vendors. You may have matrix responsibility for ~1-2 reports. This is a hybrid role, which requires some onsite work. #LI-hybrid The Role:Develop Plans aligned to CSL Global and Procurement Strategy Develop and implement annual action plans for strategic vendors based on the Global Category Strategy and business needs to ensure clear objectives and action plans resulting in the reduction of the total cost of ownership and risk, while increasing innovation, customer service, compliance and quality. Establish and Maintain Effective Category Management and Bid Management Drive value from the global category(s) by defining and implementing effective category management strategies; establishing and managing Councils for business-critical commodities aligned with the evolving business requirements and are effectively leading key sourcing activities, including negotiations, that to deliver lower cost of ownership, lower risk, higher quality and better supply performance. Lead negotiations with suppliers and provide advice and coaching to local sourcing roles as required.Conduct business with integrity, in accordance with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and anti-bribery requirements and supports diversity and inclusion by promoting utilisation of small, disadvantaged and/or diverse suppliers. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Manage SRM processes with suppliers within the category as per supplier segmentation, including risk management strategies in accordance with global policies, to enhance relationships and innovations with critical suppliers with a focus on assurance of supply, quality, service, continuous improvement, and innovation while minimizing costs for CSL and develop processes to measure value above and beyond savings in line with CSL’s values and Procurement strategy. Implement Global procedures to ensure execution of sourcing activities in compliance with CSL Sourcing Policy, Code of Responsible Business Practices, and all other compliance standards. Supply Performance Management, including management of Key Performance Indicators Responsible for monitoring Supply Performance KPIs and supporting regular Operational Reviews as per Procurement’s Governance processes with supporting analysis and reporting from the Centre of Excellence and ensuring any Category Management roles within the team also review and manage Supplier performance to meet agreed standards. Leverage value from supplier relationships to create value beyond the contract.Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the on-going interests of CSL and our reputation. Develop Talent Lead, motivate and develop employees within the Procurement organisation including effective long-term talent development, succession planning and performance managing with a focus on supporting employees to meet or exceed performance expectations while demonstrating CSL Values. Manage Key Internal and External Stakeholders and Partners Relationships Build and maintain effective professional relationships with senior, internal stakeholders and senior external executives within large vendors to deliver upon Procurement’s objectives by ongoing discussions and participation in formal teams and groups with senior leaders in CSL and external vendors to manage supplier performance, issues, procurement improvement initiatives and other broader business issues. Drive Innovation Lead and participate in global transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required to ensure the delivery of targeted benefits. Lead annual opportunity analysis forums with cross functional stakeholders and key supplier partners to replenish idea and initiative pipeline to continually generate value to the business and reduction of Cost of Goods Sold. Coordinates activities required for new market launches as well as activities derived from vendor change notifications. Plans and monitors all non-routine activities during the product lifecycle. Supports the Supply Chain department with the design and implementation of state of the art supply chain processes. Coordinates the activities related to new market launches with local and global functions. 2. Plans and initiates change controls and coordinates/manages the activities relating to non-routine activities of the product lifecycle. 3. Single point of contact for R&D project manager and Validation regarding production of validation and/or clinical trial material. 5. Supports the development and implementation of global supply chain solutions where adequate. 6.
