Knowledge of the global risk and regulatory environment, especially developments in the FCC space. In this role, you will work closely with clients, taking ownership of financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing high-quality insights to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding financial reporting and accounting inquiries, building strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, ensuring timely delivery. Lead clients in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance their financial strategies. Monitor and analyze clients' financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and proactively addressing potential issues. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes for clients, including reconciliations and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clients' financial decision-making and strategic initiatives, driving value-added solutions. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies for clients to safeguard their assets and enhance operational efficiency. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries on behalf of clients, ensuring a smooth audit experience. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Caseware Cloud is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication (Dutch, English & Papiamentu) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
