EduCativ Posted August 27, 2021 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Abdelhamid Ben Badis born on December 4, 1889, in Constantine, and died on April 16, 1940, in the same city, it was an emblematic figure of the Muslim reformist movement in Algeria. Abdelhamid Ben Badis was the son of a city family, which he claimed Berber origins. The Algerian people are Muslim and Arabs it is similar. In 1913, after studying at Zitouna and a pilgrimage to Mecca, Ben Badis settled in Constantine, where he began his teaching work. From that point, Ibn Badis launched into a peaceful resistance movement to combat alienation and depersonalization caused by colonization.
