Murdoch University Dubai

Named after prominent Australian academic and essayist Sir Walter Murdoch, Murdoch University began operations as Western Australia’s second University in 1973 and accepted its first students in 1975. The University aims to create leaders, innovative thinkers, and problem solvers who will make a difference, wherever they may work in whatever role they occupy. Murdoch University Dubai was established in 2008 at Dubai International Academic City to cater to Dubai’s expanding Media, Education, Technology, and Financial sectors and support Dubai’s ambitions in providing an ongoing reserve of regional graduates connected to the demands of the region’s booming industries. The campus offers degree programs in Commerce, Information Technology and Media and postgraduate programs in Business, Human Resource Management, and Education. The Degree programs are fully compatible with those offered in Perth and carry full Australian accreditation, and are certified by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Government of Dubai.
