Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) is the only management school of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and its recognition has been extending beyond the province.
It has been ranked as the 4th best business school in Pakistan by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in its public and private universities/institutes. This ranking also makes it the best business school in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ranking was based on the implementation status of quality assurance, teaching excellence, and research work at the universities/institutes. IMSciences is among the few business schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which has been accredited in the "W" category for its BBA and MBA programs by the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC).
As a public sector Institute, it is markedly different from others because it is fully autonomous and self-governing. This enables it to respond quickly to all new developments in academia and meet the requirements of employers. IMSciences operates intending to foster growth in students' know-how and professional skills and enable them to remain competitive in a tight labor market. It has been successful in achieving this specific objective, and over time it has expanded its functions. Today IMSciences offers degree programs in business administration, management, information technology, and public health. These are all closely tied knowledge bases that help create synergy and foster the cross-fertilization of knowledge.

Our quality enhancement center also ensures that we maintain the highest quality standards of higher education in the country. Our Business and Economic Review-Journal also stands approved by the Higher Education Commission and is published bi-annually. These facilities will offer you ample opportunities to excel in academic standings, research, and job creation. As an institute owned by the Government of KPK, we maximize our financial resources to ensure that those who qualify on open merit but need finances for their studies do get full or partial funding. We operate about 46 need and merit-based scholarship programs, reaching out to 51% of our students.
This year we have further improved our infrastructural facilities and have added five new buildings to our existing facilities. These include parking facilities, a student-teacher center, a new hostel, an auditorium and research center, and a full-fledged gymnasium.
