For more than 100 years, Victoria University (VU) has offered accessible education to students in Melbourne's west and beyond. Our flexible approach to learning and teaching supports our vision and mission. We aim to continue creating positive outcomes for education, industry, and our community into the future. Throughout our one hundred year history, we have proudly focused on creating education and training opportunities for students in the West of Melbourne and beyond. We aim to be a great university in the 21st century. We will provide exceptional value to our students, guiding them to succeed through personalized, flexible, and industry-relevant learning opportunities. The applied and translational research by our staff and their students and our graduates as employees and citizens will enhance social and economic outcomes in our heartland. Healthier, smarter, and more sustainable communities will result. It is almost impossible in the 21st century to be a successful participant in the global knowledge economy or society without tertiary education. A marvelous university in the 21st century needs to provide students with an offer that emphasizes and values diversity and inclusivity. Victoria University is your University of opportunity and success. Victoria University is committed to equal opportunity, cultural diversity, and social inclusion. We value our diverse university community and strive to create a supportive environment that enables access and promotes inclusion. We have campuses across Melbourne's central and western suburbs (and one in Sydney, too!), with purpose-built learning environments and state-of-the-art laboratories. We provide a range of services and facilities to help you get the most out of university life. Stay safe in Melbourne and reduce risk to your safety. Everyone at VU is responsible for ensuring a safe campus environment. Find everything you need for your study journey at VU. Manage your enrolment, timetables, and results. If you are having a hard time financially, we have professional staff who can provide you with financial advice and assistance with study and living costs. If you're a VU student with a disability or medical condition that impacts your studies, Accessibility Services can support you. At Victoria University, we understand how important education is to achieving your potential and that access to a scholarship can help make that happen. Each year, we award hundreds of scholarships worth millions of dollars for students at all levels – TAFE (certificates and diplomas), undergraduate (bachelor degrees and honors), and postgraduate. VU scholarships provide financial and practical assistance for students to get a head start. Broaden your education by studying for one or more semesters at VU. If your home university is one of our international exchange partners, you may be able to study with us on Student Exchange. Alternatively, if you cannot secure an exchange place or your home university does not have an exchange agreement with us, come as a Study Abroad student. At Victoria University (VU), we want you to follow your passion and excel in the industry you have always dreamed of. We are one of Australia's most industry-connected institutions and are among the top 2% of universities in the world. You will learn from leading industry professionals who combine theory with practice to prepare you for your career from day one. The Centenary coincided with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Victoria University, with the first Vice-Chancellor being appointed in 1991. To mark this significant milestone in the institution's history, the Centenary Project was established with the primary aim of enabling the University to proudly and publicly support its ambitious vision to become a university that is relevant to the needs and aspirations of contemporary learners and the community of the 21st century. Today's Victoria University is a direct descendant of Footscray Technical School (the School), which opened its doors to students in February 1916. It was intended by local businesses and the community to offer students an education that would fit them for a role in the skilled workforce and raise students out of the ranks of unskilled laborers. The School adopted the image of the 'Door of Opportunity' to express to the entire community its purpose and reason for existence.

Victory College American Department is a warm and friendly environment where a core commitment to academic excellence blends gracefully with equally strong traditions of pursuing excellence in character, an appreciation for the arts, and the development of well-rounded young people who thrive on challenges and opportunities in all areas of life. Victory College American Department is a warm and friendly environment where a core commitment to academic excellence blends gracefully with equally strong traditions of pursuing excellence in character, an appreciation for the arts, and the development of well-rounded young people who thrive on challenges and opportunities in all areas of life. At the same time Victory, College American Department holds itself to the very highest standards of transparency, accountability, and self-improvement. Our accreditations demand nothing less and they ensure that Victory College American Department is always on the march toward ever-higher plateaus of educational excellence. To cope with the present international condition, and to have our upcoming generations well equipped for their future lives on this planet, new horizons have to be introduced into their educations that promote the awareness and understanding of other global cultures. Students that are introduced to versatile cultures not only learn how to understand and sympathize with them but also learn how to become tolerant towards people who differ in traditions, customs, and priorities in life. If human beings all over the world understood each other through cultural understanding this world would be a far much better place to live in. It is also worth mentioning that students who are introduced to versatile cultures have a better understanding of human nature and learn that there is more than one way to see the world and that they all correct if seen through their own context. To meet all the above-mentioned demands of our present-day world, Victory College in Maadi has introduced The American International System of Education in which students will be introduced to the American culture and way of thinking while still maintaining their faith in their native one. The purpose of Victory American College is to educate children beyond expectations. We will accomplish this through a learning community of caring and competent educators who provide rigorous, quality instruction to all students. The collective utilization of the many strengths, talents, creative energy, and cooperation of staff, parents, volunteers, and community partners will ensure that students reach their maximum potential academically and socially. There is an overall positive learning environment for each child and individual that enters our building. We exist to promote an academic environment that’s second to none, where students are challenged and prepared to be lifelong learners and positive contributors to our world. Victory American College Vision is to provide a happy, caring, and stimulating environment where children can achieve full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral, and spiritual development so that they can make their best contribution to society. Our mission is to produce a unique and outstanding education and to become the first choice of parents who are seeking for their children an excellent, modern education in a coeducational environment. This is a community where scholarship is cherished, creativity is celebrated, diversity is evidenced, and conversation –the mean by which knowledge is elevated into wisdom-is paramount. We believe that: Students are unique in their needs, thought processes, learning styles and will be motivated in different ways. Parental support and involvement are necessary to motivate students’ for optimum success in education. When desire and vision are involved we believe that by giving the opportunities, a student can learn and achieve with success. Students deserve a more equitable distribution of all allocated funds at all levels. It is essential for each educator to demonstrate genuine concern and care for each student and show a desire for each student to learn. Students learn to be productive citizens, given a stimulating environment enough time, and the right opportunities. Self-esteem and self-respect are critical for a fulfilling life. We believe in an integrated curriculum, using a team approach, to demonstrate the relevance of each subject. The best learning process when students and staff are motivated to strive for excellence. Students are entitled to a socially, emotionally, physically safe learning environment. Visions and goals are guided by values. Changes offer an opportunity for growth. Consistent rules and discipline, positive values, and social skills are necessary for all individuals. After given opportunities, everyone is accountable for their own success. Through continual communication, cooperation, and follow-through, schools will develop a progressive educational plan of academic development. 4. Welcome to our school. Our aspirations for every child who attends Victory Primary school are summed up in our school mission statement, vision, and motto. Mission statement: At Victory School, we aim to create a welcoming, safe and caring environment, where all relationships are based on kindness. Children have respect for themselves, other people, and the school environment. We believe by working together we can achieve attitudes and behaviors which impact positively on every child’s learning experience, happiness, and well-being. School Vision: Every pupil to become active, confident, and happy learners, who intrinsically strives to reach their academic, social and spiritual potential, whilst respecting themselves and others. All staff fully embrace their roles and responsibilities within the school, maintaining high expectations, pride, respect, and a positive purpose. We look forward to working together with you every day to achieve our shared goals. The Golden Rules: Always aim high, try your best and make good choices. Always show respect to each other by being kind, polite, caring, and listen to each other. Always follow instructions given by any member of staff. Always look after our school’s property and other people’s. Always play nicely and share. We have looked at homes from the past. In our artwork, we used water paints to make our own homes and we used paper to make our own Origami house. Our class trip was to the Geffrye Museum where we looked at different objects from the past, e.g. video cassettes, Walkmans, and ways to light your home – past and present day. In Year 2, children have been learning all about adventure stories and wrote a letter to one of the characters about their visit to the floating Iceberg. In Year 3 we have been learning about Britain in the time from Stone Age to Iron Age and also about Growing Around the Globe – including a special visit from one of our mums who is from Russia. Year 5 learned about the ancient Kingdom of Benin. They examined their bronze plaques and statues as if they were archaeologists uncovering facts about history. We designed statues using body proportion, inspired by the statues of Benin’s Obas (Rulers). We had to manipulate the foil to position our figures. View full school

  7. Welcome to Victory College, where we purposefully create a learning environment that enables all students to ‘be in their element.’ Located in Gympie’s beautiful rural surroundings, Victory College is an independent Co-educational Christian College for students from Prep to Year 12. Founded in 1980, the college is set on 26 scenic and well-maintained acres and home to nearly 600 students today. Victory College has separate precincts for Prep, Primary, and Secondary students and a range of modern facilities, including a library, language center, sports stadium, science labs, ovals, equestrian center, and more. Students can learn sports, music, dance, and drama and benefit from after school sport and ‘Tute time’ (optional after-school tuition). Caring and supportive teachers guide our students with a values-based education enabling them to explore, play, and learn to the best of their potential. Students learn Japanese from as early as Prep, and all have access to technology such as class iPads, Mac labs, and the latest software. Our college operates its own subsidized private bus fleet and travels in all directions beyond the Gympie district, providing safe and reliable transport exclusively to Victory College students. Victory College is the only college in the Gympie district to have a purpose-built Equestrian Centre and offer equestrian tuition. Schools today are rapidly changing to cater to the needs of the 21st-century learner. Victory College has a reputation for responding to that change and providing a quality learning environment. Our growing facilities help students find their passion, whether in our beautiful Equestrian Centre, modern Science Centre, industry-standard Hospitality Centre or Music rooms with a recording studio. Victory College is a school and a community, a safe place where our caring staff assists students in unlocking their potential. A good education is only possible with the collaboration of students, parents, and staff. We at Victory College value the importance of partnering with families to guide your children through these essential educational, developmental years. We are proud of our quality, spacious college, our challenging curriculum, and our caring staff. However, more importantly, we are proud of our students who continue to grow into young men and women that serve and honor others in our community. Our students are valued as individuals and given the right foundations to succeed beyond school. They are encouraged to think, develop good character, be resilient, and learn how to serve others. They also understand the importance of self-discipline and maintaining the high standards set by our staff. Your child will leave Victory as a good citizen, ready to lead purposeful lives, and as parents, you will be proud of them and their achievements. View full school
  8. The College was established in 1995 in the beautiful city of Bendigo. In 2009, we moved to new facilities, and since then, we have continued to grow and expand. The College is a fully accredited VCE provider, and we are committed to delivering an excellent education for all students, from Prep to Year Twelve. Victory Christian College is a safe and nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to excel and enjoy their education. We offer a values-based education that fosters respect, leadership, and hope for the future. The College curriculum is designed to allow students to pursue their strengths in both core and creative subjects. Acts Global Churches is a Pentecostal movement, birthed in the early 20th Century in Wales through the influence of the Welsh Revival. For example, the worship and ministry experienced during College life in chapel and church services, on camps, etc., reflect this expression. The College has a balanced approach to fostering Christian values and teaching a Christian worldview. The emphasis on integrity, and the high standards expected of all staff members, allow College families to feel confident in the environment provided. The College aims to serve our local community's families, surrounding districts, and our global partners with excellence while sharing the message and example of Jesus. The College has partner schools in Malaysia (Victory Academy) and Vanuatu (Victory School of Hope). Victory Christian College is affiliated with State, National, and International Education Organisations, which provide accreditation and support. Victory Lutheran College shares the mission of all Lutheran schools and aims to encourage and support students, informed and sustained by the word of God, to develop their God-given talents so that they may shape and enrich their world. Our framework of Christian attitudes and relationships provides a strong basis for the initiative of Lifelong Learning fostered in Lutheran Schools, which encourages living in the community and reflecting characteristics of God through core values, especially love, justice, compassion, forgiveness, service, humility, courage, hope, quality, and appreciation. In our 25th year, Victory has grown from a primary school to cater to secondary students and is now a leading independent, co-educational Foundation to Year 12 College, providing quality Christian education. Welcome to Victory Lutheran College. We believe education is more than just academic excellence. We aim to inspire, motivate, and empower students to reach their true potential, achieve their own goals, and flourish as globally connected leaders. A balanced education teaches the strength of character and courage of heart. It provides an understanding of service for those less fortunate. We believe it is about engaging the minds of tomorrow’s leaders today. Specifically, we aim to: Provide a balanced and rigorous approach to education that encourages spiritual, social, physical, emotional, and academic growth. Challenge students to achieve their personal best and become active and informed citizens. Aim to develop independent and critical thinkers. Provide experiences that encourage curiosity and promote a love of learning. Encourage participation and celebrate achievement. Expand our focus to develop global understandings as well as local and national ones. Provide tailored education to target the learning needs of students. Complete thorough assessment that encourages, supports, and empowers students. Actively embrace technology to engage students. We deliver this through our curriculum programs, which are based on ongoing professional development, industry benchmarks, and extensive research, all of which we are incredibly proud of.
