      1. The Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics offers a wide range of educational programs in engineering, IT, and humanities from bachelor to post-doctoral degree. It trains over 11,000 students at different educational levels. It has 23Bachelor and 23Master programs. NURE also offers a wide range of Ph.D. studies. Also, NURE has various study modes, including full-time study, part-time study, and distance learning. We have a modern system of technical support, such as virtual content creation technology. NURE often invites guest speakers with diverse kinds of presentations about different scholarship programs and internships. It gives the university students, Ph.D. students, and the University staff a perfect opportunity to apply for some interesting educational or training programs abroad. New curricula were worked out for Information Security courses, and soon the related disciplines were approved for the most specialties of the Computer and Information Technology Institute. The "Information Security in Computer Systems and Networks" specialty was introduced at the Electronic Computers Department. The Philosophy Department was established to provide world-view, social and political, humanitarian, and methodological training of students and postgraduate students. The main goal of the department's educational activity is the formation of a system of value orientations and social norms that define the development of human civilization. Immense attention is paid to forming a culture of thinking at students and postgraduate students, which includes scientific, technical, and humanitarian knowledge. It is based on personal responsibility for the results of intellectual activity... The department pays attention to creating conditions for the professional development of teachers through postgraduate and doctoral programs, internships at leading universities of Ukraine. The training aims to develop mathematical and logical thinking, specialty subjects study, and independent work with scientific and technical information. The students master basic concepts, ideas, and modern calculus methods and learn to use them in solving particular problems. The students are given basic ideas of linear algebra and classical mathematical analysis; they are trained to solve applied problems (i.e., to formulate a real problem as a mathematical one and to choose the best method for solving it), to solve mathematical problems, and to implement the solutions in order to get the practical outcome (a formula, a number, a diagram, the proper conclusion) as well as to work with apparatus criticus independently. Upon completion, the student receives a profession out of 2433 «Professionals in the field of information and information analysis» (the knowledge engineer or analyst, consultant, director of knowledge management, etc.), a prestigious, sought-after, and highly paid. The department's scientific direction is to study the problems of knowledge management and competitive intelligence, which are near related to the areas of system analysis, artificial intelligence, and information technology. Our main goal is to promote students' full personal and intellectual development and identify the most effective forms of organization of the educational process. Employees of social and psychological services conduct individual counseling and psychological training for students and staff of KNURE.
      2. TUSUR is one of the leading engineering universities in Russia, located in Russia and Siberia's intellectual heart – the city of Tomsk. TUSUR is a young university, ambitiously striving for leadership and global presence in education and research. 13 thousand students study at our 13 faculties. Relatively small size allows the university to be mobile and quickly adjust to changes becoming more robust and efficient. TUSUR was one of the first Russian universities to transform the educational process, introducing project-based learning and enhancing research and innovative academic work components. ECTS center established at TUSUR coordinates student exchange and ensures the adequate transfer of credits obtained abroad following standardized international documents. TUSUR was also the first Russian university to start implementing a complex development model that focuses on entrepreneurship and two traditional university missions, i.e., education and research. In the last decade, TUSUR has created a network of innovative companies founded by its alumni. Today this network comprises 125 companies. In 2004 a student business incubator was established at TUSUR, which gave rise to 15 hi-tech start-ups created by university students. TUSUR continuously expands its global presence by implementing projects of international «technology and knowledge transfer bridges.» Today there are several such «bridges,» namely California-Tomsk, Toronto-Tomsk, Nuremberg-Tomsk. They offer new opportunities to enter foreign markets with Tomsk enterprises' end products, commercialize R&D products of TUSUR researchers, and attract foreign investment. TUSUR takes part in large-scale international programs, such as EU-Russia Cooperation Program, INTAS, TEMPUS, DAAD, CRDF – to name just a few. TUSUR researches in partnership with foreign universities. More than 20 universities expressed their intention to pursue long-term cooperation with TUSUR in education, research, and development. German, Dutch, French, Italian, British, Finnish, U.S., Canadian, Chinese, South Korean, Vietnamese, and Israeli research organizations collaborate with TUSUR in various fields. For instance, a partnership with Delft University of Technology (TUDelft, the Netherlands) resulted in creating the Siberian branch of the International Research Centre for Telecommunications-Transmission and Radar (IRCTR-S) at TUSUR in 2002. The mission of TUSUR University as a world-class entrepreneurial research university is to create the cultural, academic, research and innovation environment that would make it the driving force for economic development in Eurasia, promote world-class research, and facilitate the training of highly-skilled professionals for global centers of innovation. The mission relies on progressive values highly regarded by the entire TUSUR community: Spirit of entrepreneurship Shaping society needs through high-technology achievements Adoption and enhancement of the world progressive educational methods International knowledge and technology transfer The corporate culture of excellence The strategic goal is to create a world-class entrepreneurial research university that is a global leader in radio engineering and radio electronics, information, and telecommunication technology, electrical engineering, and power electronics, control, automation and instrumentation technology, physical electronics, and microwave nanoelectronics, which will be achieved through the adoption of best international practices in education, strategic partnerships with the academic and business communities, training of highly competent engineers, allowing TUSUR University to join the ranks of the leading international universities by 2020. The Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics implements a concentrated research model and has firmly positioned itself in fundamental science and knowledge and technology markets. TUSUR has established scientific traditions and world-class research teams. Relying on these advantages, TUSUR makes a significant scientific contribution to the development of the five disciplines mentioned above and steadily increases its impact on each of them. Highly qualified faculty ensures the success of efforts to pursue undertaken priority lines of research, which is why TUSUR makes sure that its faculty and staff comprise both respectable scholars who used to take part in large-scale Soviet radiolocation and rocket and space projects and young researchers joining in today.
