Donetsk State University of Management (DSUM) was founded in 1992 to face the challenge of an emerging market economy in Ukraine's most industrially advanced regions. DSUM is a state-run higher education institution accredited with the IV level of accreditation by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is a dynamic, modern, forward-looking higher education institution, which successfully combines educational and research activities. DSUM is a specialized institution to prepare high-qualified specialists for management-related activities in Economics, Finance, Sociology, Law, Banking, and Marketing. The University's mission is to train a new competitive generation of specialists with distinct creative thinking to serve the professional world's needs using the quality continuing education by the international standards for intensive sustainable society development in the knowledge-based economy in Ukraine. Since its foundation, DSUM has trained hundreds of international students at the full cycle education. Mostly these are citizens of China, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and former Soviet republics. In 2002 the first exchange students from the Czech Republic and Poland arrived for a one-term training within the bilateral agreements. Annually the University hosts up to10 exchange students from the European partner universities. Despite all the complexity of Ukraine's current situation, DSUM remains a modern university on the move. It can be proved by successfully reorganizing the educational process in the new premises and a continuation of the wide range of education research and related academic functions, like international cooperation. The University's strategic priority today is to accord study program design and content according to the European standards to become a distinguished education-and-research institution with valuable input into the economic and social life of the region and the country. In 2008 the double degree program at the MA level with Polish University was elaborated. So far, 12 students have participated in this program. Students study four foreign languages (English, French, German, and Spanish) as the compulsory subject of their study programs at all specialties. The majority of students learn English. Students of the specialty "Management of Foreign Trade Activity" learn two foreign languages. Today the University enrolls 1,500 thousand students. Ukrainian higher educational establishment with 97 years of history, which predetermined the development of Ukraine's national economy by its educational and scientific activities, trained more than 150 thousand experts in economics and trade, which was and remained the robust research and educational center. Having recognized the achievements in students' training and connected with the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1970, the University was awarded the Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR. For significant contributions to the development of Ukrainian higher education, the University was awarded: by the International Personnel Academy with the Order "Poshana" ("Honor") (2002), within the framework of the International Academic Rating "Golden Fortune" – with the Silver Stella and Diploma of Quality (2003), with the silver medal of "10 years of Independence of Ukraine", with the Order of "Svyatiy Dmytro Solunskiy" ("Saint Demetrios of Solun"), with the bronze medal on the results of VIII International exhibition of educational establishments "Modern education-2005". The priorities of the international activity of the DonNUET are internationalization of education and the search for new forms of international cooperation, assisting the harmonization of Ukrainian and European education, improving the quality of the educational process. DonNUET is a member of international educational associations: the institution "Great Charter of Universities," International Association of Commerce and Economic Education, the Association "Eurasian Economic Club of scientists." Due to the complicated socio-political situation in the east of Ukraine and the continuation of the armed conflict in the city of Donetsk, according to the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1178 of 17 October 2014, DonNUET carries out its activities in the city of Kryvyi Rih. Donetsk National Medical University «DNMU» is a state-owned higher educational establishment of Ukraine. DNMU is the best and the largest medical university in Eastern Europe. Donetsk National Medical University «DNMU» was established in 1930 as M. Gorky Donetsk Medical Institute. After the Second World War, Institute was renamed Stalino Medical Institute. In 1967, the institute was again renamed to M.Gorky Donetsk State Medical Institute. In 1994, DNMU was given the university'sUniversity's status, and in 2008, DNMU got the status of National Medical University, and it was renamed to M.Gorky Donetsk National Medical University. In 2015 according to the Ministry of Health of Decommunization's order, the university'sUniversity's name was changed to DONETSK NATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY. DNMU is considered to be the best medical school in Ukraine and all over Europe. The university is known as DNMU, and it is the abbreviated name of Donetsk National Medical University. In connection with the Russian and Ukrainian Conflict in Donbas Region, the university'sUniversity's main campus was moved to Mariupol City (located two faculty of DNMU before). Due to conflict, the university and staff of the university decided to relocate the campuses all over Ukraine. At every campus of DNMU, students are getting training in English, Russian, and Ukrainian Languages. At Kirovohrad and Chernihiv Campuses, students get training in the French Language also. Donetsk National Medical University has complete infrastructure at all Campuses; at every campus, DNMU has a minimum of 7 hospitals working under DNMU as their Clinical bases for students and Scientific Research work. All the theoretical and Clinical departments for students are functioning completely at all campuses. Scientific and research laboratories are available at every campus. At all campuses, DNMU has a suitable environment for students and teaching staff. DNMU provides fully equipped labs for all students at all campuses. DNMU has the biggest of Scientific research papers every year all over Europe among all medical Universities( according to the Scopus). Donetsk National Medical University «DNMU» is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and from the I-Med Schools' Directory. Donetsk National Medical University is registered with the world Medical Universities list. Donetsk National Medical University «DNMU» was the first medical university in Ukraine and Eastern Europe to start the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy in the English language for foreign students in 1991 after the independence of Ukraine. In 2016 DNMU firstly started training students in the French medium of instruction. We are the only university in Europe except for French schools that provide training in the French medium of instruction.
