Nation University is previously called "Yonok College" and was approved by the University Bureau to start teaching in 1988. York Foundation operated it. The Higher Education Commission's office permitted York College to change (the type) from college to York University. Later on, the Ministry of Education, upon the Higher Education Commission's advice, allowed it to change the name to "Nation University." The university teachers at the bachelor and master degree level from the beginning until now for 30 years with more than 6,900 graduates: 5700 bachelor degrees and 1,200 master's degree. Nation University is a private university of Lampang province stressing the production of quality graduates for the society with the teaching and learning process committed to turning students into thinkers who love to learn both in academic and application with high morality and public mind by engaging in activities training the students with authentic experiences enabling the usage of knowledge in working efficiency. King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is a leading technology university in Thailand. Its three campuses are in the North of Bangkok, Prachinburi, and Rayong province. The educational system emphasizes the development of people in science and technology to become technicians, technologists, engineers, technical teachers, and administrators in the education business and industry. To expand the educational system to the regional areas, in 1995, KMUTNB acquired land in Prachinburi province to establish a new campus, "KMUTNB Prachinburi. Prachinburi Campus is located at 129 Moo 6, Tambon Noenhom, Amphoe Mueang, Prachinburi 25230. The total area is 197.41 hectares. The first students began studying in the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Management in 1997. In 2003, a student from the Faculty of Agro-Industry also started studying at the Prachinburi Campus. King Mongkut's University of Technology will establish its three campuses in Rayong Province. The Campus will be constructed at the Ban Khai District, which is about 150 kilometers from the Map Ta Phut deep seaport in Rayong. The new Campus, which is expected to cost about 3 billion Thai baths to construct, will occupy an estimated 100 rai and be completed within five years. Rayong Province is always referred to as the industrial Hub of Thailand for its accommodation of vast industrial zones such as the Amata city Rayong, the Eastern seaboard Industrial Estate, The Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, the Siam Eastern Industrial Park, Rojana industrial park, etc. Designed to expand opportunities for higher education in Science, Technology, Applied Arts, and higher academic-related courses, the project is a unique vision for the industries around its location. Preferences shall be given to the Locals who are interested in studying at the Campus. Special quotas will be offered to Rayong and the Eastern regions such as Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Chantaburi, and Trat. This initiative is considered a government policy to expand educational opportunities for young people in the region and target higher education students. Moreover, this will also raise the people's quality of life, as many will be able to get the right technology and modern agricultural skills that have been lacking in the region. The Office approved the Bangkok Thonburi University of Higher Commissioner, Ministry of Education by H.E. Jurin Laksanavisit, Minister of Education, to change the status from Bangkokthonburi College to be Bangkokthonburi University (BTU) on June 11, 2009. Bangkok Thonburi University (BTU) was established as Bangkokthonburi College by Dr. Bangorn Benjathirkul on January 28, 2003, who foresaw the importance of Thailand's human resource development and to serve the needs of the community and the parents of students of the Vocational and Business College and the Bangkok Poly Techniques wishing to provide higher education for their children as well as to serve the needs of Thai youth in pursuing effective education with the mission to provide an excellent comprehensive and holistic educational system by qualified experts and specialists. The ultimate aim is to produce qualified graduates to serve their society and their country as a whole under the philosophy: "Cultivate Man with Wisdom and Morality." BTU is located on land areas totaling 219 Rai, 3 Ngan, and 94 Square. It Was in two locations. The first location is BTU main campus situated at 16/10 Taweewatta Road in Taweewattana District, Bangkok,10170, with the land area of 188 Rai, 2 Ngan, and 8 Square Was. The second location is at Sa Kra Jome Village, Don Jedi District of Suphanburi Province, with 31 Rai, 1 Ngan, and 86 Square Was. Since BTU's main campus is in suburban Bangkok, surrounded by various governmental offices with convenience and accessible communication via buses and automobiles, it facilitates effective administration and management of the University. During the three decades of educational services since the establishment of business and technical schools and Bangkokthonburi College, BTU has efficiently managed to carry out BTU's four primary functions, namely teaching and learning, conducting research, providing educational services to the public, and maintaining and preserving arts and cultural heritage.
