The mission of Korea International Christian School is to equip our students to become Truly God’s People to impact the world for the kingdom of God.
We believe the world was created by the direction of God. Therefore, the meaning of all life and existence can be explained in the context of God’s creation and plan of salvation. In addition, we believe that God has given man the responsibility to rear children, teach his goodness, and have dominion over the earth, sky, and sea by the principles of the Bible. Therefore, the Korea International Christian School educates students with obedience to the authority of the Word of God in all academics and life.
All new students must be vaccinated legitimately before enrollment is approved by the Republic of Korea Ministry of Health and must prove their worth on paper. Students at the school can be given the medicine only if prescribed by a physician. However, the school can give students medicine in case of minor illnesses. The ultimate purpose of the Christian education is to make a disciple of Christ. The Bible has given that authority only to church and home. Therefore, Christian education must be carried out by biblically structured churches and Christian homes. The effort of KICS is to educate students to become “Truly God’s People.” Through using the curriculums deeply rooted in a biblical worldview, KICS provides an atmosphere for students to learn to glorify God, be grateful for their salvation, and come to the full realization of their tasks. The classes of KICS are conducted in English using the curriculums from Bob Jones University in the US.
KICS raises Christian leaders who work for glorifying God only through biblical textbooks and curriculum from Bob Jones University which is a Christian prestigious university. At this time most of the education in Korea is done by public schools and there are few Christian schools however there is no school that is run by Christian faculty, biblical textbook, and curriculum.
These days it is said that children who believe in God do not grow as God’s children and break their belief due to secular education such as humanism and evolution theorem. In America, many people already received education from a traditional Christian school and live life as a Christian. Many people are the leaders of society and live as a disciple of Jesus.
Therefore, even in Korea, there should be many Christian schools like KICS that educated truly God’s people. So KICS starts a movement called “717 movements” which is to establish 700 Christian schools, 1 million prayer supporters, and 70 Christian leaders. To spread Christian education and culture through 717 movements, we need many co-workers for this ministry and support by prayer and material. We can not do it by ourselves. We are recruiting 1 million material supporters and 1 million prayer supporters.
