What is your day to day? Maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heat exchanger, HVAC, electrical and water systems; monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, steam, and air conditioning equipment; ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; recording readings as necessary to assure proper operation of equipment; responsible for reporting any problems/malfunctions. Desired experience and technical skills Required: High school diploma or state equivalent required, minimum of four years of related trade schooling or two years of college.Minimum 5 year experience in HVAC trade or related field or minimum 3 year experience in refrigeration trade or related field. Preferred: Experience troubleshooting and repairing RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, WSHPs, Cooling towers. Experience working with building automation systems (i.e. Siemens, Johnson Controls, etc) for control of building HVAC systems.Skilled in use of tools and machinery required by the position.
