    Job DescriptionFSO - Assurance - Audit - Professional Practice Groups (PPG) - Senior Manager / Manager - Hong Kong   The Opportunity The Financial Services Professional Practice Group (PPG) is responsible for leading the maintenance and enhancement of quality in the assurance practice. Be a key point of contact for our clients, requiring you to collaborate with our specialist teams in bringing expertise to our corporate clients including in the areas of international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy and transactions Supervise and mentor the team, including senior consultants, consultants, and graduates, by acting as a 'Counsellor' for junior members, fostering their career development, and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.   Skills and attributes for success         Essential skills to suceed in this role are:   Possess detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role, along with expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations. Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters and coordinating various engagements, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions. Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage, though not essential.   Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes.
