Hands-on experience on data modelling techniques to create Enterprise Data Models Implementing data management concepts (Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Testing) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs. Conduct assessment of existing data architectures, identify areas of improvement, and recommend remediation plans to optimise data management process and systems. Develop data migration strategies and oversee the execution of data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to client operations. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations on data architecture, data governance, data quality and data security matters. Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry standards in data architecture and management, and provide thought leadership to drive innovation and enhance our consulting offerings.   To qualify for the role, you must have   Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and strategy, with a proven track record of creating impactful visual stories from complex datasets. Strong academic record including a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven expertise in data modelling and database designs like ER models, Dimensional models, Data Vaults and Hierarchical/ Network data models etc. Extensive experience in developing code for both SQL and NoSQL databases, with proficiency across various database platforms both on-prem and in cloud. Extensive knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data warehouse design. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to handle large-scale data processing and analytics. Understanding of data quality principles and practices, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques to ensure high-quality data. Ability to create comprehensive documentation for data models, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure clarity and compliance. Proven experience in modelling and handling real-time data streams using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, or similar tools to support real-time analytics and decision-making. Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and design innovative data solutions. Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and manage relationships with clients at various levels of the organization. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and mentor a team of consultants and drive successful project outcomes. Experience of developing relationships with new and existing clients and selling professional services advisory projects to clients. Highly numerate with a sound grasp of Excel and a natural interest in using it to help clients to better understand their business or to make better business decisions. A track record in valuations and/or financial modelling, experience of working in a professional services environment, and exposure to high profile transactions, would all be a distinct advantage. Experience of team management, delegation. The ability to demonstrate intellectual rigor and commercial awareness, combined with first-class numeracy and analytical skills, experience in corporate finance. Familiarity with key valuation methodology and approaches and/or the ability to develop or formally review financial models is a pre-requisite. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple responsibilities, a proven record in project & team management. Experience in M&A, Valuations, restructuring also is preferable. License of appraiser / license of appraiser’s assistant would be an advantage CFA/ACCA/RICS/ASA or similar financial / appraisers’ qualification would be an advantage.
