Norlights International School Oslo is a state-funded private school (friskole) in Oslo, established in 2015. The school is located in Skådalen. The metro (T-bane) is the closest neighbor to the premises on the Holmenkollen Line (Line 1). Oslo is a city with a limited amount of schools that have English as the primary language of instruction intended for children of primary school age. By offering an international education, NLIS wants to contribute to society. The school opened its doors to 1st - 5th graders in 2015. In 2019/2020 the school offers all grades from grade 1 to grade 10.

The school implements the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) and Middle Years Program (MYP). These programs offer high-quality and challenging education for a worldwide community of schools, aiming to create a better, more peaceful world. NLIS is authorized as an IB PYP and MYP World school.
