Green Heights International School was founded as an extension to Green Heights Language School which gained an outstanding reputation since its establishment in 1998 at the start of the new millennium. To capitalize on this success and to strongly contribute to the world of standard international education, Green Heights International School opened its doors in 2008. Green Heights International School (GHIS) offers comprehensive internationally accredited programs under the American and British educational systems.
Furthermore, GHIS upholds moral education and cultural identity through comprehensive programs of Ethics and Character building. The American Division is accredited by AdvancED/NWAC and its graduates are granted the American Diploma while the British Division is accredited by the British Council to grant its graduates the IGCSE certificate upon completion of its respective program.
We are proud to have graduated the first batch of American Diploma students in 2010, with excellent results, and the other classes that followed till now. Yet, we look forward to celebrating more graduates from both programs. GHIS's comprehensive educational program is a product of years of experience acquired by the school management and staff, to develop independent learners who would not only seek education but find pleasure in doing so.
The mission of Green Heights International School is to provide each student with quality and diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Our students are equipped with skills that will enable them to face life challenges, embrace diversity, act responsibly and contribute to our community. We challenge our students to reach their full potential by developing leadership skills that prepare them to lead the next generation and contribute responsibly in an increasingly competitive and global society.
We create future leaders who possess technological competence that will enable them to challenge their abilities as life-long learners in an environment that fosters a strong character. Our vision at GHIS is to create future leaders by preparing our students to learn valuable life skills, achieve their full potential and face different challenges for the next century. Our first-class of future leaders graduated in 2010. All seniors were admitted to various reputable universities in Egypt and worldwide.
At GHIS, we want to provide an exemplary educational experience that nurtures an international perspective developed through the challenging American and British programs we offer. Not only do our students demonstrate excellent academic progress and achievement while at GHIS, but they also become grounded in the important qualities of integrity, leadership, adaptability, resilience, and true compassion for interacting with the surrounding world. Additionally, our students are well-prepared to take an active role in aiding their community through taking part in GHIS WE ARE ONE program that embraces charity activities.
The unique and beautiful campus is the backdrop for a school determined to have a profoundly positive impact on the personal lives of its students as well as assuring a great education. We are focused on being a student and learning-centered school that is consistently moving forward in preparing students to be successful as modern global citizens.
