The World Islamic Sciences and Education University seeks to combine knowledge and virtue-based on faith and wisdom to become a modern and comprehensive Islamic university. The university seeks to achieve distinction at the Arab, regional, Islamic, and international levels.
The World Islamic Sciences and Education University aims to provide the Arab and Islamic worlds with specialists who can show the bright and accurate Islam image, based on tolerance and moderation. The Library aims at achieving the objectives of the university by helping students show their creativity and distinction. Also, the Library plays a significant role in providing the students with textbooks, resources, journals, etc., needed in their fields of study.
Faculty of Da'wa (calling) and Foundations of Religion is the mother of all university faculties. It was founded in 1990 when it followed the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. In 1997 it was attached to Balka' University and was called the University College of Foundations of Religion. The degrees awarded are BA in Foundations of Religion and Recitation and Islamic Studies MA and Ph. D in Islamic Doctrine and Philosophy MA and Ph. D in Exegesis and Quranic Sciences MA and Ph. D in Hadeeth and its Sciences MA in Proselytism and Islamic Media and MA and Ph. D in Quranic Recitations and Studies.
The Institute of Traditional Islamic Architecture was established in 1998, when it was affiliated with Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. The Faculty of Arts and Islamic Architecture is the first Arab and Islamic academic institution to educate the Islamic arts academically and teach advanced academic programs at the bachelor, master, and doctorate levels.
The Faculty of Business & Finance was established at the beginning of 2008/2009, with several students reaching 1358. Its teaching staff consists of 58 professors of various academic ranks. The Faculty of Business & Finance aims to enhance the scientific reproducibility in business and finance in a way that expands research and the faculty scholarly activity. The Faculty of Business & Finance aims at supporting the faculty collaboration and developing all the programs. The business world is exposed to essential changes based on the volatile developments in our era's global, political, and economic events. Besides, technology also has an essential impact on it. In this dynamic environment, we educate our future graduates in our departments of the Faculty of Business and Finance. As a College, we prepare the next generation of business leaders through a range of innovative undergraduate academic degree programs, graduate programs like our Master of Business Administration and Master of Accounting, and international partnerships.
The Faculty of Educational Sciences was established at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2008/2009 and then merged with the Faculty of Arabic Language in the first semester of the academic year 2010/2011 and was renamed the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Educational Sciences. In the first semester of the academic year 2013/2014, Educational Sciences separated as a new faculty. The Faculty comprises three sections: Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Department of Counseling and Mental Health, Department of Special Education. The Faculty of Educational Sciences seeks to provide educational and other institutions with qualified teachers, supervisors, and educational counselors specializing in education. It also seeks to present educational services that serve the educational process, serving the local community through conducting conferences, seminars, and training courses, and advise institutions wishing to do so and to develop and provide programs adapted to the labor market to meet the needs of the local community and regional and international communities.
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences was established in the first semester of the academic year 2013-2014, after being separated from the Faculty of Educational Sciences. The Faculty attracts faculty members in all specialties from distinguished professors and includes specialized administrative cadres and trained and qualified, which reflected on the educational outputs of this Faculty, to fill the labor market graduates armed with science and knowledge, thus meeting the needs of the labor market in Jordan and abroad. The Faculty has seen an expansion in graduate studies and scientific research in the departments that grant the Masters and Ph.D. degrees. This is represented by recruiting faculty members of the high scientific rank and accepting students from all Arab World and the Islamic World countries. The Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks to be distinguished in the fields of specialization that harmonize the labor market and contribute to providing this market with qualified students who can compete internationally.
