The cost of a degree from Saint Vincent will vary for every student depending on eligibility for the many different forms of financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study. More than 97% of SVC students - and 100% of the freshman class - receive some form of financial aid.

The Financial Aid Office at Saint Vincent College is committed to providing the highest customer service level to our students and families in planning for and meeting expenses associated with a Saint Vincent College education. We focus on establishing aid eligibility, awarding scholarships, grants, loans, and employment opportunities from federal, state, private, and institutional sources to all eligible students, and providing counseling associated with financing an education.
True to our Catholic, Benedictine, and liberal arts heritage, Saint Vincent College also offers our students support outside of the classroom, including individualized attention for first-year students, innovative programming for all students, worship services, student leadership opportunities, community service projects, career planning, health, and wellness support and a commitment to a safe and comfortable campus environment.
All students are assigned faculty advisors based on their majors, and undeclared students are assigned faculty advisors who are designated to assist students in their significant selections. Students should communicate with their faculty advisors regularly for registration and academic planning.
In addition to the faculty advisors, students may also work with academic advisors from Academic Affairs for additional support. The office provides academic support through academic advisors who help students develop their time management and study skills. These advisors also help students identify the many additional resources available at the college.
For the more than 1,850 students who form the Saint Vincent community, the $12.5 million Robert S. Carey Student Center serves as a place to catch up with friends, work out, pray and unwind. The center includes a fitness center, swimming pool, lounge, book center, coffee shop, gym, performing arts center, art gallery, and student chapel, as well as a nondenominational prayer room.
Just about every day of the academic year, you will find good reasons to get out and about on campus. You can join one (or more!) of more than 50 student organizations, or take in one of the lectures, comedians, parties, concerts, and many events scheduled by the Activities Programming Board.
If you like active life, Saint Vincent College offers 23 varsity sports and more than a dozen clubs and intramural sports. Or you can get to know the Laurel Highlands that surround the campus: Paddle a canoe, hike a mountain, or go cross-country skiing. You can do all this and more through the College's Highlanders Outdoor Explorers Program, which takes advantage of the many opportunities for adventure right in our backyard of the Laurel Highlands.
Community service is an integral part of life here: About two-thirds of Saint Vincent students volunteer. You might help spruce up the campus, mentor inner-city kids, or comfort AIDS patients in Brazil. Whatever you do, chances are you will be getting more out of it than you give.
