With the enrollment of the first 150 undergraduate students in the three departments—the Department of Banking and Finance, the Department of Business Administration, and the Department of Financial and Economic Law, CTBC Financial Management has received generous support and approval from the public and students. Other public universities also admitted about 80% of the current students. About 14 of them were admitted by National Taiwan University or National Chengchi University 87 of them graduated from Taipei First Girl's High School, the Affiliated High School of National ChengChi University, the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University, National Wu-Ling Senior High School, National Jhongli Senior High School, National Taichung First Senior High School, National Changhua Girls' Senior High School, National Chiayi Senior High School, National Taichung Wen-Hua Senior High School, Kaohsiung Municipal Kaohsiung Senior High School, National Tainan Girl's Senior High School, National Tainan First Senior High School, and the Affiliated Senior High School of National Kaohsiung Normal University, etc. The rest of the student body also graduated from other top-tier private high schools.
Our curriculum is designed to offer financial proficiency and collaboration with CTBC Future Management Associates Program to ensure that the 4-year studies provide theoretical knowledge and internship opportunities. Students who meet the standards of the FMA program will receive two financial job offers before graduation.
For students with qualifying examination scores, CTBC Elite Scholarship offers the full scholarship in the first year. Students with qualified academic performances (stay in the top 50% of the class) can receive a scholarship for the rest of the semesters.
CTBC Financial Holding also has sponsored another scholarship program called the Diamond Elite Project (Applicable to the above scholarships at the same time). After reviewing all students' academic performance for the first two years, we will select qualified students to study in recognized business colleges in the United States or Japan (the Wharton School, Keio University, Waseda University, etc., top-tier business schools) for one semester. Undergraduate - Banking and Finance. The Department is designed to provide a broad knowledge and skills in business finance to equip students as future leading business professionals. The curriculum has two distinctive focus in financial marketing and big data. Both provide the essentiality to ensure the students can learn real-world concepts and tools of analysis required for making effective financial decisions and transfer that acquired knowledge and skillset into the job market in the future.
Undergraduate - Business Administration. The Department helps the student understand financial services and industry, including banks, insurance companies, funding management companies, stock brokerages, investment funds, and the theory of marketing and consumer behavior and further applied in the financial service industry.
Graduate School of Financial Management. A rigorous and leadership-focused program offers an applicable curriculum, which students can immediately apply in their future careers in the financial organization and international banking industry. Our top-rank faculty includes CTBC Senior Managers to help students understanding the issues and methodologies essentials to the advancement of knowledge in the actual banking industry and promote the innovational theory of financial operations.
