    KDI School of Public Policy and Management opened in March 1998 to foster global leaders in the public and private sectors at home and abroad. Since then, KDI School has achieved remarkable growth with our inaugural group of 55 students increasing to about 380 and the launching of the Master of Public Management Program (MPM), starting the year 2015. In 2014, the Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program received accreditation by the NASPAA-The Global Standard in Public Service Education. NASPAA accreditation reaffirms the high standard of education of KDI School and its international recognition.
    KDI School, by securing a faculty pool with outstanding policy research records, strives to create a rich and interdisciplinary curriculum that combines state-of-the-art theories and the practices of policymaking and implementation. With the strong tie with KDI, we strengthen our education-research capacity as the center of knowledge for sharing the Korean Development experience. Moreover, our student body with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds provides an open educational environment, which leads to a well-connected global alumni network spanning 110 countries. This allows our students to nurture international perspectives and acquire relevant skills for global leadership.
    KDI School also enjoys extensive partnerships with distinguished universities and research institutes worldwide for student exchange and other academic programs. Accumulated policy research and development consulting experience at KDI over the last four decades are valuable assets for KDI School striving to become a world-class academic institution for development policy studies. We will channel our best efforts in nurturing growth potential and ensuring resilience in developing countries.

KDI School offers comprehensive and rigorous academic programs focusing on real-world policy issues in the public and private sectors. All courses are conducted in English in a truly international environment. The majority of students are mid-career professionals with 5-10 years of working experience in government, business, NGOs, media, or academia. International students account for around 50% of the student body, further promoting the School's internationalism and creating a robust global alumni network.
