    The School of Engineers of the City of Paris (EIVP), formerly School of engineers of the Prefecture of the Seine, created by decree of the prefect of the Seine on 13 October 1959, a local public institution autonomous administrative authority under statute, having legal personality and financial autonomy, since 1 January 2006, under Article L2221-10 of the general code of local authorities, under the supervision of the City of Paris.
