Only the best students are accepted by INSA Rennes (1 in 7 candidates is admitted into the first year) based on their dossier and interview. Subsidized by the state, INSA engineer training is accessible to students from all social backgrounds.
Being both scientific and technical, engineer training favors teamwork and a high employment rate through practical sessions, industrial projects, and internships in companies in France and abroad (11 months possible over the five years of study). INSA Renne's engineers have excellent employment potential, finding their first job within 1.2 months on average (2014 graduates). 50% of the students are even recruited before graduating.
