International Business School (IBS) is an independent, politically unrelated, private higher school in the Republic of Bulgaria.
It was established in 1991 as the first private higher college with international affiliation in Bulgaria – the Bulgarian-Danish College of Business, Export, and Marketing.
On 25 July 2002, with the 39th National Assembly of Republic of Bulgaria, it was transformed into a specialized higher school of learning. The National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency accredited it for degree programs at Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor's level.
During the 20 years that followed, our development was dynamic and rising. We build the School with an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit in close cooperation with the world of business.
We prepare for the challenges of life in a mode of cooperation. We encourage our students' ambition, motivation and entrepreneurial attitudes, and talent for their successful professional careers and starting their own business during the time of studies at IBS.

The mission of International Business School is to change a life, economics, and society using business education and scientific research. Our mission has three equally critical integrated components. They ate education and teaching, research and engagement with the community.
