  1. Kesser Torah College offers a unique education in Sydney: an authentic Torah education together with a rigorous General Studies program. However, our point of difference is further reinforced by the Torah values that permeate every aspect of the school day – and beyond. This means that our students are taught to see the very complex world of decision-making through the prism of a very clearly defined Torah lens. The journey from adolescence to adulthood is very often plagued by many competing priorities and influences. While our students are no strangers to the modern, sophisticated environment challenging them daily by growing up in the vibrant and diverse society that is Sydney, Australia, Kesser Torah College steers and guides them through these competing tensions by providing consistency of meaning and purpose: a Torah-true compass that offers them a roadmap, not only for their childhood and teenage years but for life. Our students are fortunate to be taught by exceptional educators, dedicated, not only to the subjects they teach but to the education of the “whole child”. A real teacher can teach his/her students to teach themselves. We believe that each student should be nurtured to achieve his or her own personal best. Moreover, the function of any great school is to educate beyond the classroom, and at KTC, the many extra-curricular, informal, and experiential programs do just that. As it so aptly says in Kidushin 40B Study is important because it leads to action”) We look forward to welcoming you as partners in this exciting journey and trust that you too will be inspired to grow with us, as together we teach our children to love and live their Judaism – daily. KTC Early Learning is nestled within the grounds of Kesser Torah College. We serve the Jewish Community and follow an integrated General and Jewish Studies curriculum. The proverb takes a village to raise a child encapsulates our approach with children. KTC is an entire community of different people interacting with children for them to learn, experience, and grow in a safe environment. KTC early learning is an integral part of the school. This integration provides your child with an advantage as it allows them to form a connection to school from a very young age. This continuum of learning and sense of belonging is a unique feature of the school. Research tells us very clearly that when you belong you become.
  2. Founded in 2003, Pacific Torah Institute is a High School and Beis Medrash serving the Pacific Northwest. We are dedicated to providing a quality Torah Education and a comprehensive General Studies Program to enable your son to live as a proper Ben Torah. The main focus of our Limudei Kodesh program is developing proficiency in the reading and understanding of Gemara. Our Shiurim are based on skill level so that each student can be accommodated in the proper setting. To ensure that Shiur time is maximized, Talmidim has the opportunity to participate in Rachana/preparation sessions and post-Shiur review classes. We strive to develop the proper analytical skills, which, aside from helping students gain a deeper understanding of the Gemara, are transferable to other areas of the Torah as well. At the same time, our curriculum includes Bekiyus Shiurim to facilitate a broader knowledge of Gemara. Concurrently, our students also attend Chumash classes. The primary focus is on building reading skills to understand the Pesukim, Tagum, and the Meforshim. With these skills, our Talmidim will be capable of comprehending the various texts, but they will also be proficient in developing Chiddushim and appreciating the underlying messages of the Torah. Broad knowledge of Halacha is necessary to live as Ben Torah. Our Yeshiva's curriculum includes Halacha classes. Students will learn a range of practical Halachos, including the Laws of Shabbos and Tefilah, in a setting that allows for questions and discussion. At PTI, we are guided by the principle that building Middos and a proper grounding in Torah Hashkafah are vital to Ben Torah's growth. We recognize that in order for a person to flourish, they must continually evaluate their actions and mindset. At PTI, our Rabbeim strives to instill this desire for Mussar and personal introspection into every Talmid. Our curriculum includes Mussar Sedorim, Shmuezzin, and group Hashkafah sessions, where our students can explore the wisdom of both the classic Mussar Seforim and their contemporary Rabbeim. Owing to our smaller class sizes, we can work with each student individually, allowing him to forge their path in Torah and develop relationships with our Rabbeim. Being active in the Jewish Community is an integral ingredient of a Ben Torah. At PTI, our curriculum extends beyond the classroom, and we aim to engender a sense of responsibility and dedication towards Klal Yisroel. Our students are involved in various activities, including visiting the sick and the elderly, outreach Shabbatonim and community events. Under the dedicated leadership of Mr. Colin Cameron, our General Studies Program is an intensive academic program that is fully accredited by the B.C. Ministry of Education. PTI is fortunate to have a faculty of dedicated teachers who skillfully help students develop the knowledge and skills required by B.C.'s high school graduation program. Our classroom learning is enhanced through unique cross-curriculum programs and academic activities, independent and group research, oral presentations, and the annual Jewish Federation Debates. Our General Studies Program provides students with all requirements to graduate from a British Columbia high school with a Dogwood Certificate, BC's internationally recognized high school diploma. Upon graduation, students are eligible to apply to any post-secondary institution in North America. As with all British Columbia high schools, our General Studies teachers use the B.C. curriculum guides and textbooks. Our teachers offer challenging and individualized instruction that caters to each boy's learning needs and interests. The British Columbia curriculum strives to be at the forefront of education. The signature of the recently revised curriculum is focused on understanding and doing, as well as knowing. These are the focus of the curricular competencies. There is also a determined focus on core competencies: communicating, thinking, and personal and social. The core competencies integrate personal assessment as a critical component of being a useful citizen. Reporting for the revised curriculum will focus on these competencies and will be more frequent and qualitative. Letter grades will not be the norm but will continue to be available.

  4. Torah Temimah is a single form entry, orthodox Jewish maintained Voluntary Aided boys’ primary school located in Dollis Hill, in the London Borough of Brent. We serve the Jewish communities of northwest London and beyond. Torah Temimah is an orthodox Jewish boys’ school. Torah Temimah Primary School exists to provide boys from the Orthodox Anglo-Jewish Community with a high-quality Orthodox Jewish Education coupled with National Curriculum studies imbued with Torah values, enabling all boys to take their place in and contribute to society. We aim to provide quality experiences in all aspects of school life, enabling children to develop into fulfilled young people with a deep understanding and love of and commitment to the orthodox Jewish faith, learning, and practice, who can make a positive contribution to society. A warm, welcoming, and respectful Jewish environment will enable our children to develop strong Jewish values and a love of Torah and Jewish life within the modern world. TTPS is a Chareidi (strictly Orthodox Jewish) school with an ethos that stresses the primacy of the Torah, life-long learning, and steadfast religious observance while engaging positively with the modern world. This ethos pervades all aspects of our work and curriculum. It is upheld and communicated daily by the staff through promoting Torah values. The school respects all authentically orthodox Jewish traditions. We teach children to respect and value people of all races, faiths, and cultural traditions as children of God, and to develop into tolerant, active, contributing citizens of the broader community and nation. The school prides itself on the exceptional work ethic and high achievements of its pupils, and their “outstanding” (Ofsted 2011) moral, spiritual, and social development and standards of conduct. We are aligned with the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations of the UK. We derive our ethos and values from the timeless values and teachings of the Torah, as transmitted through orthodox Jewish tradition. The Nursery and Reception classes follow the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. This is delivered through the framework of the rhythm of the Jewish year: weekly sedra, festivals, and key aspects of Jewish life. Through this framework, the children play, learn and develop in all aspects of the Early Years curriculum, making good use of our well-equipped outdoor open and covered play areas and garden. We have a disabled-accessible ground floor toilet for visitors. Our building is a Grade 2 listed building and we are limited in our ability to make adaptations. Access to the first and second floors, which includes classrooms, the hall, offices, and meeting rooms, is via staircases only. We have limited meeting rooms (the largest is on the second floor) but we are usually able to make a small room available for visitors’ use, sufficient for 2-3 people. This may be in an outdoor wooden cabin (complete with power and heating) or portacabin, and access to these rooms may mean negotiating a lip at the door or maybe via one or two steps. In Key Stage 1, we teach Phonics using the Letters and Sounds scheme. This ensures a systematic, progressive approach to the teaching of Phonics throughout KS1 and – for those children who require it – into KS2. Central to this overall aim is the following specific aims. To instill in the boys a love of Torah and mitzvot (religious observance) To help boys develop middos todos (exemplary moral attitudes and standards of personal conduct towards others) and an appreciation that these are fundamental and applicable to all aspects of personal, professional, and communal life. To ensure that pupils reach the highest possible standards in all aspects of their Kodesh (Jewish) and Chol (secular) studies. Through encouraging positive attitudes and exemplary behavior in pupils, to help them to develop high self-esteem and confidence. To help boys become independent and responsible members of the school and wider community. To help boys understand and respect the rights of others and their responsibilities towards others. To develop links with the wider community of which the school is part. Our most recent (2017) Key Stage 2 results, as published in the School Performance Tables by the Secretary of State for Education on the Department for Education. Our 2017 Early Years Foundation Stage Profile assessments showed that 85% of children – all boys – achieved the target “Good Level of Development” at the end of the Reception year.
