  1. DSHA is a dynamic Catholic college preparatory educational environment composed of over 690 young women, 100 dedicated and talented faculty and staff, involved and supportive families, and an alumnae community with over 15,000 graduates since 1892. Celebrating 126 years of history, our Catholic faith shapes our daily life and guides our decisions. The vision of DSHA is to be the number one standard of comparison for schools seeking to effectively educate young women of faith, heart, and intellect. DSHA is highly intentional about the life-long impact of the educational experience – from the all-girls environment to a mission rooted in 125 years of making known the goodness and kindness of Jesus Christ from the rigorous college-preparatory curriculum to an environment dedicated to whole-person wellness. Divine Savior Holy Angels High School is a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women that excels at developing the whole person. Sponsored by the Sisters of the Divine Savior and grounded in their mission to make known the goodness and kindness of Jesus Christ, we develop our students into capable young women of faith, heart, and intellect who accept the gospel call to live lives that will make a difference. At DSHA, all-girls make all the difference. Our whole-person approach to education focuses on each girl's spiritual, intellectual, social-emotional, wellness, and leadership growth. By spending some time on our website, you will learn more about our Catholic mission, our history, faith formation, academic preparation, co-curricular programming, and our approach to whole-person education, among other topics. Our sponsoring order, the Sisters of the Divine Savior, have made it their mission to foster the awareness of a loving God and to promote the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We animate this mission by engaging young women in Campus Ministry programming planning from leading retreats to daily afternoon prayer. The DSHA faith formation experience provides our young women with the opportunity to understand better and appreciate our Catholic faith and grow in their relationship with God while learning to work for justice and peace in our world. We are also proud of our strong academic reputation in college preparation. The curriculum at DSHA challenges young women to think critically and to communicate effectively. Our teachers are creative, influential professionals who strive to engage student learning. Annually, 99 percent of our graduates pursue post-secondary education at a four-year university. They report being exceptionally prepared for college success. The average DSHA student performance on the ACT over the past three years is 26.9, which demonstrates our students' academic talent level and their preparedness for success on such measures. Research shows that involved students typically find tremendous academic success, and so we provide many opportunities for student involvement in co-curricular activities. Our athletic program offers non-cut sports in each season- in fact, over half the student body typically participates in a fall sport. Angelaires and theatre are two additional hallmarks of the DSHA co-curricular experience. We offer a plethora of clubs and activities and believe strongly that there is something to engage each student. Finally, in our more than 125-year history, we have never been more effective than today in successfully educating the whole person. Our innovative approach to wellness education, our commitment to physical fitness, and access to resources such as the ALPHA center, Freshmen Seminar, Student Services, and Campus Ministry are all facilitated by our unique 8:4 schedule. DSHA's commitment to a progressive, innovative, and integrated approach to education is rooted in strong academics and superb college preparation, with a deliberate and successful commitment to the whole person's development. From four years of theology and dual (college) credit classes to a broad base of rigorous college preparatory curriculum and electives allowing girls to explore their passions through courses like digital publishing and oceanography, DSHA has a long tradition of academic excellence, leading to 100% of students attending college annually. The 13:1 faculty to student ratio allows for an environment where students evolve into articulate, critical thinkers over four years. View full school
