  1. As the best school in the Free State, we provide quality teaching, sports, and cultural activities to our learners to help them discover and achieve their full potential in a safe environment through committed educators and parents. The first principal was Mr. Kgetsi from Bethlehem supported by messers Mphatsoe, Motshabi, Lengolo Tsie, Mahapu Bochedi. Mrs. Majola nee Madondo, Mr. B. Mokotjo, Mr. Shai, and Mrs. Shai The first group wrote Junior Certificate (J. C.) 1973 Mr. Kgetsi was promoted to inspectorship, while the construction of the school building was still underway at Block 7, (the present site). 10 classrooms, not impressive with steel doors hinged from the outside, 3 other small rooms used as the Principal’s office, library, laboratory, bucket system toilets, and no electricity. To be the best performing and trend-setting school in the Free State. As the best school in the Free State, we provide quality teaching, sports, and cultural activities to our learners to help. The reason I mentioning this is that as a school we, are proud of the fact that my team and I, persevered with you and offered critical subjects like Maths and Science together and Maths and Accounting respectively, while others elsewhere chose the easy way out and offered learners Maths Literacy, combined with Physics while Accounting was abolished and replaced with Tourism, merely for purposes of churning out a high pass rate but to where exactly? We are proud to have had the foresight to be in sync with the national objective and imperative to prioritize science subjects. Many learners who attained distinctions in other schools have spoken of their desire to study Actuarial Science, Engineering, and other fields which will not only guarantee them jobs but also help our country accumulate scarce skills to become economically competitive. You too can make it wherever you go. Convince yourself that you will make it and imagine it vividly, ardently desire it, sincerely believe it, and enthusiastically act upon your resolve to attain your dream. This applies in full measure, to those who did not make it or achieved less than what they hoped for. My team and I, a wonderful combination of educators who are armed with a sense of purpose, and ably assisted by our competent administration will seek to raise the bar. On behalf of my SMT, educators, and SGB, I declare that we will remain focused in pursuance of excellence towards quality results that will guarantee the futures and prospects of our learners. Last but not least, I wish to welcome the class of 2014 and thus urge you, our children, to formulate and stamp indelibly on your minds a picture of yourselves as succeeding hold it tenaciously and never let that picture fade. Do not build up obstacles in your imagination in the process. Continue to envision your success, and you will achieve it! Obstacles will indeed be thrown your way as it is like life, but maintain an attitude of a winner, because, if you think about winning, you will attract it, but if you think about under-achieving or failing all the time, you will also attract that which you think about.
