Choosing a school is a significant decision for families, and our website gives a small taste of what Nowra Anglican College offers. NAC is a welcoming and friendly school delivering wide and varied opportunities for our young people within their formative years. All our students are encouraged to reach their full potential through quality teaching practices delivered by highly dedicated and talented educators. Our Christian foundation remains the driving force behind all of the activities of our school. Our motto "In the light of the cross" is infused into our day-to-day activities and the morals and contribution that we make to our local communities. We challenge our students academically. We provide them with excellent sporting and cultural programs. We look at the spiritual and service components that will help each child develop into the type of young person you will be proud of. Nowra Anglican College arose out of a vision to establish an affordable school in the Shoalhaven, a school that would make quality Christian independent education available to ordinary Australians. The Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation had a very similar vision. They had established affordable fee schools in the western suburbs of Sydney and Milton on the South Coast. The Corporation was searching for a suitable site to expand its schools' network. For twenty-six years, the Nowra Information Centre stood tall on the outskirts of Nowra. When the Shoalhaven City Council decided to sell the site, including Apex Park, this seemed ideal for a new Corporation school. View full school
