ABOUT GOLAGHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE Golaghat Engineering College is the sixth approved engineering college of Assam located at Bogorijeng Golaghat. It is spread over an area of 110 Bighas (44 acres) with a demarked boundary wall. The college currently provides undergraduate 4-year degree course in three branches, namely Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The first batch of students got admitted to this college in August 2018. It is equipped with state of the art infrastructure. Its geographic location is 26°33' longitude and 93°58' latitude. It is located at a distance of 5 km from Golaghat Town and 22 km from NH37 at Dergaon. The nearest railway station is Golaghat Railway Station, Golaghat, 6.3 Kms away from the college. The nearest Railway Junction is at Furkating, which is approximately 13 kms away from the college.
