  1. At AMADEUS International School Vienna, we provide an innovative and positive learning environment for students in all grades. As a fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School, we follow the IB’s rigorous, internationally recognized programs for students aged three to 18. Our inquiry-based learning approach engages students, addresses real-life challenges, and cultivates critical-thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Our Commitment to the Arts encompasses a holistic approach to education by combining academic excellence and passion for music and the arts. We maintain a truly international campus with over 40 nationalities, where multiple languages can be heard every day. Small class sizes allow for personalized attention. We provide English language support to enable all students to excel. As the language of our host country, German lessons are a requirement up to Grade 10 and offered at both the native and foreign language levels. Where requested and available, we also support the development of our students’ native languages through our mother-tongue program. In addition to various technology tools, we provide our Primary students with iPads and our Secondary students with MacBooks to complement coursework. The International Baccalaureate Organisation authorizes AMADEUS International School Vienna as an IB World School. The IB is renowned for its high academic standards, commitment to international-mindedness, and focus on developing skills that will prepare students for success in future educational endeavors and life in a global context. The IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The AMADEUS Primary School welcomes children ages 6 – 11 in a vibrant and inclusive learning community where international students feel connected and welcome. Our inquiry-based approach builds a strong foundation for life-long learning. The AMADEUS Secondary School engages students ages 11-18 in a vibrant and inclusive learning community where international students feel connected and welcome. Our excellent, inquiry-based academic programs create opportunities for learning, personal growth, and reflection in three International Baccalaureate academic sections: A unique focus on creativity and innovation. It is provided through an integrated Music and the Arts Programme. A co-curricular program is offering project-based learning and real-world experience. An intense Physical, Social, and Health Education program is focusing on student well being taught throughout the curriculum, including a robust physical education program, outdoor activities, nutritious homemade food, a positive school climate, and an emphasis on social development and mental health. Superior boarding facilities provide students with the opportunity to live and learn in a multicultural environment in a top-ranking city renowned for its cultural and historical significance—a vibrant school activities (ASA) program. A personal laptop program is empowering students to create, research, and communicate. Individual university and career counseling. They extended learning opportunities through extra-curricular activities, including field and study trips, excursions, project weeks, and concerts. An optional Mother Tongue Language Programme encourages and supports students and their families to maintain and improve their native language(s). Co-Curricular classes at AMADEUS are designed to give our students real-life learning opportunities. With specially designed Curricula, students can engage with professional fields of study alongside the International Baccalaureate Programme. Co-curricular at AMADEUS means students are a part of a dynamic learning program that integrates the arts and emphasizes process, play, and a real-world product. It is a place where students and teachers are both learners and creators. They build skills and involve themselves in new experiences. Co-Curricular at AMADEUS allows for the expression of intellect, imagination, and emotion. It brings with it an understanding of continuity and change, demonstrating a unified approach to STEAM education centered on the ARTS. We want to model through proper planning, how students can develop their capacity to manage their learning, work together with others outside their year level, and engage in activities that reflect the real-world practice of performers, composers, authors, artists, and scientists.
