Founded in 1975, North Central Texas Academy (located on the beautiful, 500-acre campus of Happy Hill Farm) is an independent, accredited, coeducational, interdenominational college-preparatory, day, boarding, and international school. North Central Texas Academy equips a unified but diverse student body for lifelong success by providing a comprehensive education from a Christian worldview that cultivates the mind, transforms the heart, and develops each student’s character and God-given abilities.
NCTA provides a robust academic curriculum based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the College Readiness Standards. All topics are explored from a Christian Worldview framework in addition to traditional secular viewpoints. Honors and Pre-AP coursework is offered in English, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics for students in grades 9-12. Advanced Placement coursework is offered in AP Calculus, AP English, AP Government, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, and AP Physics.
North Central Texas Academy has a selective admission policy. Students are considered based on academic performance, standardized testing, student and parent goals, and character references. Students must be able to meet grade-level curriculum expectations to be considered for admission. Financial aid is awarded on a competitive basis and predicated upon financial need, family hardship, and student potential.
North Central Texas Academy’s curriculum is a private, Christian, college-preparatory boarding, day, and international school.
