We believe that learning should be fun and that by encouraging respect for each other and valuing the opportunities available we all grow and learn together.
At Llantilio Pertholey we aim to create an atmosphere where children feel motivated to learn in a calm, creative and safe environment. We encourage our children to become self-confident and independent learners and work in close partnership with parents and the local community to achieve high standards of work and behavior. Our school opened in April 1991 and replaced the old school which had been part of the community for over 100 years. The school was delighted to remain a Church in Wales Voluntary Controlled School and further strengthen links with St Teilo’s church and its associated community.
Llantilio Pertholey Church in Wales Primary School will strive to provide a welcoming, happy, caring, and secure working environment for all, in which our children will be educated appropriately in terms of the changing needs of the world in which they live. The emphasis will be focused on developing literate, numerate, scientifically aware, and digitally competent individuals.
