Kuwait Indian School was established on 14 November 1985 by Late Mr. Ibrahim Al-Qutaimi who was the Founder and Chairman of the school. The school at first was launched in Farwaniya as a Primary School. Despite the massive destruction of the school property during the invasion, our school did not wind up. Soon after the invasion, the school opened its door to restart it immediately.
As the continuous growth of the school, the old premises had to transfer to one of the Government School buildings at Jleeb Al- Shyoukh area in 2007 April, and by 2010 the school extended up to the Secondary level.
The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. India. Affiliation No-5930016. Also recognized by the Ministry of Education, Kuwait.
The area of the school campus is 2.5acres. It has classes from Lower Kindergarten up to Grade 10. The medium of instruction in the school is English. The second language is Hindi/Urdu till Std X . French is offered as Optional Second language from Std V.
Kuwait Indian School is a co-educational school, imparting quality education and preparing students of Std. X for the All India Secondary Education Examination, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi. We not only impart quality education but also groom our children to become good citizens. It is about building character, enriching minds and experiences that last a lifetime. We can only accomplish this task with the whole-hearted co-operation of dedicated teachers.
