AIS Kuwait is an IB World school that offers American and International Baccalaureate curricula. American International School Kuwait cares about the well-being of our school family. To adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and needs, and ensure the welfare and protection of our AIS community members we regularly monitor, review, and update procedures. The Superintendent, in cooperation with the Health and Safety Committee and the Administrative Council, develops and enforce procedures for health and safety about all aspects of school life including school transportation, campus security, food service, playgrounds and equipment, specialist teaching spaces (science, physical education, and the performing arts) and emergency response (fire, natural disaster, pandemic, dangerous intruders, act of terror, bomb threats).
The American International School is fully authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). This sets AIS apart as one of only 276 schools worldwide to offer a continuum of IB programs. Offering three sequential programs allows the opportunity to develop learners through purposeful transitions and consistent approaches to conceptual thinking and personal responsibility.
